Overcurve is a shoe construction featuring a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the ankle’s two bony protrusions: the lateral and medial malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape, with the throat of the shoe curving over the foot from its outside to its inner side. The closure is simple and secure, powered by a micro-adjustable BOA IP1 dial.
Vento Overcurve X3 are assembled with extensive use of welding and laminated reinforcements, reducing exposed stitching that could collect dirt. They are easy to wipe and clean. The race-orientated characteristics of these shoes are continued with the X3 carbon injected outsole: it’s minimal to save weight, but stiff for power transfer, and with an aggressive tread that claws the ground and easily sheds the mud.

Der Schuh ist leicht und super verarbeitet( Größe 47). Ich habe in Turnschuhen von Nike 47 (vorne einen daumenbreit Platz), in normalen Schuhen 46 und immer Probleme wegen meiner breiten Enten-Füße...Der X3 ist nicht so extrem schmal wie andere Radschuhe, entgegen anderer Rezensionen. Wegen meiner Fußprobleme habe ich alle möglichen Hersteller anprobiert. Ich habe einen Schuhspanner mit einem Tuch umwickelt und mit viel Kraft in die Radschuhe gestopft. Dann mit dem Föhn den Schuh erhitzt, nachgestopft und 3 Tage stehen lassen. Nun passt er super. Für Breitfuß-Indianer sind ansonsten die Lake Modelle in "wide" geeignet oder die Sidi "mega" Modelle. Sidi muss eine Nummer größer gewählt werden.
Absoluter Traum! Sitzt von Kilometer 1 an extrem gut, drückt nicht, die einzelne Boa und eine innen leicht gummierte Ferse fixieren den Fuß gleichmäßig - Perfekt. Trage normalerweise 45, was auch hier gut gepasst hat. Dazu noch sehr schlichter und schicker Look.
