FRAME Cube Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie Pro 400
It's fair to say that Bosch didn't have perfectly proportioned kids' bikes in mind when they designed their world-beating drive systems, but that hasn't prevented us from neatly integrating it into the Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie's frame. Using the same design and construction techniques as the adult hybrid mtbs, Cube has built a junior hybrid that's both fun to ride and safe as well. Internal cable routing significantly reduces maintenance, and they've even included mounts for a CUBE kickstand.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting persistent disturbances in global supply chains, the illustrations and equipment information may differ from the actual bicycles.

Bosch PowerPack 400 battery
The versatile power source: PowerPacks from Bosch come in a variety of types. Frame batteries are close to the bike's centre of gravity. This has a positive effect on riding behaviour. The rack variant is ideal for step-through models (only available in Bosch eBike system 2), offering greater freedom when mounting or dismounting. Charging is very simple in both variants: for charging with a Bosch charger, the PowerPacks can be easily removed with just one hand movement or conveniently charged on the bike itself. The high-quality, long-lasting eBike batteries from Bosch combine high energy density with a compact size and light weight.
Geometrie
Generaly it is a good bike. However I have to give max 3 stars because the service bike-discount.de store offered to us. Firstly we had to wait a month for it to be delivered to our address in Spain. Secondly the bike came with bike's 'Walk+' assistance feature NOT working!!! Since we live in mountanious terrain it is a crucial feature for the bike and our 10 years old boy. After an initial problem inquiry email the store tried to educate us how it needs to be activated then they realized we are doing everything right (we have other Cube ebikes so know how Walk+ works) and the shop said that it had been deactivated by the manufacturer. Apparently for child's safety. We were also told this could be deactivated via live wire with manufacturer at a very high cost. So we are stll tying to solve it and are very disappointed as bike describtion on bike-discount website does NOT say the feature is disabled. On a good note the shop's replies to our emalis were prompt and clear.
