Bell Stratus MIPS - Road Bike Helmet
The integrated Float Fit adjustment system provides comfort and security in a streamlined fit and an oversized dial that is easy to operate with just one hand. Overbrow ventilation pulls cool air in the front and pushes it through an air channel matrix, preventing the head from overheating. And thanks to the adjustable No-Twist Tri-Glide system, the straps stay flat and in place no matter how hard you pedal. This model also features MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) technology for added protection in certain impact situations.

MIPS is a sliding plane system within the helmet designed to slow or prevent the amount of energy transferred toward or away from the head.
In-Mold
With In-Mold construction, the durable polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation while it foams. The helmet becomes, without additional weight, thereby even more resistant. This production process also makes it possible to form significantly better ventilation systems and vents. In-Mold helmets are, compared to traditional helmets, thus lighter and have significantly better ventilation systems.
Float Fit
Bell's most advanced helmet fit system combines comfort and safety in an ultra-lightweight design. Float Fit™ optimizes the fit of the helmet in 2 ways - in terms of head circumference and vertical adjustability. To reduce weight and simplify usability, the guide arms enclose the back of the head in a unique way thanks to "Float" design. This puts the helmet in an ideal position on the head. Simple, lightweight and comfortable.
