zuverlässiges Tensiometer, mein Parktool ging irgendwann nicht mehr. Das hier fühlt sich ehrlich gesagt sogar etwas besser an, zumindest gefällt mir die Spannfeder besser.

I use other katana tools and they work fine, but they'd been better off without making this one. It may be OK for relative measurements (i.e. if tension among your spokes is even), but definitely not for absolute measurements (if you have the tensions all in an acceptable range, not too loose and not too tense). The correct range in kgf for a good wheel should be between 80 and 130 according to the manual. With 2 mm straight gauge spokes, this would mean a value of 54 to 57. A brand new wheel I just bought shows values of 40 to 44 on one side and 46 to 48 on the other. These values are so low the manual doesn't even list the kgf equivalent for them, but according to my calculations (using an equation of the exponential trendline based on existing numbers), the brand-new wheel was measured to have 14-24 kgf on one side and 31-41 kgf on the other. This, if the wheel would have 80 kgf on one side and 130 on the other, would mean an error rate of 73-77% error rate - simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, I've only tested this tool on a brand new nipple after rounding / breaking in half / having to cut a dozen of spokes, spoke nipples, and spoke wrenches. I've tried alloy/brass nipples, lubed/dry spoke threads, and slightly different spoke lengths, but nothing helped, the issue was definitely that I had the tension of the spokes too high. I bought this tool specifically to support alternatives to Park Tool on the market, so I wouldn't mind it costing the same if it worked the same. I will try to recalibrate the tool and test again (there is a screw for that), but this should not be required at all for a brand-new tool.

Bin mit dem Tool nach fast zwei Jahren immer noch zufrieden . Auch die anderen Werkzeuge von Katana , wie Drehmomentschlüssel sind gut und haben einen fairen Preis .

Kann man mit Arbeiten und ist nicht so teuer. Bekomme damit reprozuzierbare Werte und die Speichen fühlen sich auf Zielspannung auch so an wie ich es gewohnt bin.
