The Essential Thermo Bib Tight W is designed to provide the rider with maximum comfort in cold and wet conditions. This bib tight consists of two different materials that have been carefully processed. The main material is a very technical fabric from Mavic's well-known Italian supplier: 4-way stretch, roughened back, with a high level of abrasion resistance, it offers the legs gentle support and freedom of movement. The fabric also has a fluorine-free water repellent finish (the sustainable C0) and is easy to care for. The knit construction along with the roughened interior provides insulation benefits that are unusual for high-performance stretch materials.
On the lower legs, which are more exposed to the elements, a stretch membrane fabric is used to repel water and dirt. The Ergo Essential W seat pad is designed specifically for women to keep you comfortable on long rides. It features two different density levels that provide progressive cushioning while minimizing bulk so it still flatters your figure.
The multi-panel construction allows for a precise fit, and special care has been taken to move the seams away from the back of the knees for increased comfort. Retroreflective details have been carefully incorporated, such as 360° visible reflective tape strategically placed where legs move the most. The front panel extends over the belly button for maximum warmth. The fit was designed specifically for women - for that slim, streamlined feel we all like when we're in the saddle.
