Top Lenker der am Rad sehr gut wirkt. Ersetzt die modern gekröpfte 9° Folterstange am Mondraker Prime. Ich fahre den Kyote minimal nach oben gedreht. Gerade oder nach unten eingestellt sind genauso gut möglich. Kabel und Züge passen problemlos vom zuvor montierten 800 mm Lenker, selbst bei 760er Lenkern sollte das noch ausgehen. Perfekt für 160 mm Odi Griffe, der Lenker ist ja breit genug :) Sehr guter Komfort auch auf langen Etappen, die Handgelenke freuen sich obwohl man ca. 2 cm weiter vorne greift. Prima Fahreigenschaften was Lenken und Bremsen angeht. In Kombination mit dem eher zu kurzen Vorbau des Mondraker ergibt sich eine (für mich) perfekte Geometrie. Die Qualität passt und das Gewicht ist erstaunlich niedrig.
Top. War fürs Reise-MTB gedacht, mittlerweile ist dieser Lenker auch auf dem Transportrad und dem Commuter im Einsatz. 800mm sind in der Stadt etwas breit, aber mit einigen cm Einkürzung auch in diesem Metier unterwegs. Nummer 4 wird jetzt an nem alten Trekkingrad verbaut. Noch nicht die eierlegende Wollmilchsau, aber sehr nahe dran!
Be careful - there are a few obstacles that are not easy to spot. First, the bars make the cables of commands and brakes go at an angle away from the bike - and you might need to get longer ones, and that's not so easy. Also, the ends of the bar are where your other handlebar's ends would be - but due to the angle your palms are in a different position and your thumbs are nearly 5 centimeters more forward than with a regular riser or flat handlebar. I changed the stem with 4 cm shorter, I moved my seat 1 cm forward and I'm still reaching more forward than with my regular riser with same 35 mm rise. I'm very tall so it's good for me, but keep in mind. Other than that, I'm very happy with the feel of the handlebar. I will be using it with my city bike. It seems to be perfectly usable for trail riding also.
