100% PolyamidLight and small to carry around, they protect the legs where it is necessary when it's raining but not pouring. I still have to test them in winter, but I think they might work very well to protect the upper legs from the cold.
Ich liebe die Dinger, halten dort trocken (Oberschenkel und Knie), wo am meisten Regen drauf fällt und es vom Fahrtwind am kühlsten wird und man schwitzt nicht.
Schützt bei leichtem Nieselregen sehr gut, bei starkem Regen (logischerweise) nicht mehr, weil der Regen seitlich an die Hosenbeine tropft. Kombiniert mit Vaude Gaitor long Überschuhen, die vor Spritzwasser von unten schützen, ist das aber meistens eine gute Kombi. Schützt auch an den richtigen Stellen vor Wind und Kälte. Für wirklich starken Regen ist eine vollständige Regenhose allerdings besser. Punktabzug dafür, dass sie nicht allzu lange halten. So etwa alle 2 Jahre müssen neue her.
Für den Sommer echt super. Klar - beim Auf- und Absteigen muss man wegen den Bändern aufpassen, da wäre eine Regenhose besser. Aber in Letzerer schwitze ich im Sommer wie ein ... In Sommer und in der Übergangszeit prima, und bei Dauerregen fahre ich sowieso nicht :)

Hört sich an wie eine gute Idee - Ist es aber nicht. Zum einen sollte man sich klar machen das weite teile der Hose nass werden und dreckig. Gut die Oberschenkel bleiben schön warm und das ist ganz angenehm - Aber die Hose ist halt trotzdem vollgesaut. Viel kleiner wird das Päckchen auch nicht. Die ganzen Bänder und schallen machen das ganze sehr fummelig und beim zusammenlegen sperrig. Meine Regenhose ist schneller, einfacher und vor allem mit dem selben Volumen aufgerollt. Wirklich einfach anzuziehen aufgrund der strippen durch den Schritt ist sie auch nicht. Natürlich trotzdem wesentlich einfacher als eine Hose. So. Und nun das schlimmste: Die Bänder durch den Schritt verfangen sich kontinuierlich am Sattel. Nach einer Wintersaison sind mir die Bänder beim Absteigen insgesammt 3x Abgerissen. Nach dem ersten mal war ich echt vorsichtig. Im Spagat vom Rad runter... Aber irgendwann musste es dann halt doch mal schnell gehen. Tja schade irgendwie. Wie gesagt: Keine gute Idee.
