Highly insulating and pleasantly soft: the padded Equipe RS Spring Fall S9 bib shorts by ASSOS
The fabric around the thighs is made of brushed Osmos Heavy material, which further enhances the stability of these areas. This is the latest material to be incorporated into ASSOS' textile family, and its technically complex 2-in-1 composition offers a number of advantages. The first advantage is that the brushed inside is highly insulating, breathable and very soft on the skin. The outer jersey is like the "cover" of the shorts, providing even better support for your leg muscles and compression. These two components, combined in one material, provide a compressive hold around the legs, promoting circulation and ensuring even heat distribution.
Knowing that the fronts exposed to the wind must be particularly resistant, ASSOS has provided a two-layer twinDeck structure with the special Sphere Ultra material. This ensures that you are optimally protected from freezing cold air in sensitive areas without having to sacrifice breathable properties. ASSOS used the race-proven Equipe RS insert — only without kraterCooler air holes — in its popular basalt colour.

- A-Lock Engineering: The S9 system combines materials and manufacturing processes to stabilize the shorts and prevent slippage of the insert
- Osmos Heavy: This jersey is used mainly for these shorts. It is the heaviest brushed material in the entire Osmos family (290 g/m2), with asymmetric stretch and a soft, durable structure. A high level of insulation is provided thanks to the brushed interior
- Sphere Ultra: In ASSOS' two-layer twinDeck structure, processed in the front fabric section of the step to provide additional thermal insulation. Patented two-layer windproof, waterproof and highly breathable soft shell material with sealed PU membrane for additional water repellency, maximizing insulation and minimizing weight. - RollBar: ASSOS' unique, patented design, in which ASSOS is based on the stabiliser of a racing car. The carriers act as stabilisers while you shift your weight from left to right when cornering
- ErgoBox: A square fabric panel that effectively frames the insert on the back for added stability
- Butterfly Pattern: The biggest part of the fabric caresses the lower back and the legs and runs together at the back. The small number of seams promises a more uniform hold, less weight and improved comfort
- Carbon Xbib: A single batch of elastic material that has been folded down to form a strong A-shaped frame and offers limited vertical stretch at the back. Above the "X" junction, a more flexible material was used that features an antibacterial carbon fabric that wicks away moisture and lies flat on the front
- Ultralight Leg Grippers: The newly developed structure of a band around the leg made of Lycra - and free of silicones - wraps around the thigh for a soft, extra light hold

Equipe RS
The insert of the S9 generation combines expertise, engineering skills, high-quality materials and perfect workmanship. The centre is made of superAir SuperAir microShock foam, a lightweight open cell foam with a shock absorbing composition that returns to its original position, filling the gap every time pedaling position is changed in the saddle through the shift of weight, supported by 3D waffle, a patented, three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight. The patented goldenGate technology interrupts the stitching along both of the insert’s side panels, allowing a more three-dimensional freedom of movement in this sensitive, rotational area. The horizontal stabilizer, a patented central stitch that secures the rear of the insert to the outer textile, eliminates shifting while pedaling. Mod.Dep S9 Basalt, a antibacterial microfiber booster top sheet, gives the seat pad its color.

top hose für kühlere temperaturen
Die Hose ist wie Assos-like einfach Spitze. Bei Touren um die null Grad mit entsprechenden Beinlingen warm genug. Ich bin 1,91 groß und XL passt optimal. Ich würde die Hose immer wieder kaufen, aber Assos hält ja lange - das rechtfertigt auch den Preis.
