Vaude Karakorum Pro - Rack Bag

Additional storage options can be found in the outer pockets. It’s attached to the gear rack carrier using the QMR 2.0 attachment system (suitable for round tubes up to 16 mm diameter).
The bags are connected to each other via the Top Case, which is outfitted with robust, easy-running zips. All 3 bags can be used separately: Take just one for the office commute, two for your weekend shopping or all three for longer journeys where you need to be well organized. The Top Case can be used separately as a daypack or bike backpack for city rides when you don’t have much gear. It also features an outer pocket. When the bags are completely mounted to your bike, you can load your tent, sleeping bag or pad on top with the clip-on gear web.
Rain covers for all three bags are included. The primary material of the bags is 100 % recycled PET. The contrast material is also made of 50 % recycled polyester and they feature PFC-free Eco Finish water repellency. Good for you, good for the planet. No matter how far you ride, these bags will help keep your carbon footprint small.

Soft Back 2
The soft back bag pack for VAUDE bag packs is based on the proven hardback technology – although dispensing with the fully enveloping plastic panel. By this means their have achieved a significant reduction in weight as well as more flexibility in its attaching. Maximum load: 10 kg per bag.

The second generation of the Quick Mount Release (QMR) hook: even easier to use and can be directly locked onto the hook (with ABUS 145/20 padlock for example).

PET Bottle Recycling
This product includes material that is made from recycled PET plastic bottles. The bottles are collected, cleaned, melted down and processed into high-quality yarn which we use to create brand-new products, helping to conserve both resources and energy.
ECO FINISH
VAUDE products bearing the Eco Finish been waterproofed in an environmentally-friendly way without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are part of a group of chemical compounds which are used to waterproof the outer layer of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, bioaccumulative and toxic, and suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely renouncing PFCs.
