In addition, the environmentally friendly, highly functional Primaloft® Eco Gold insulation keeps the foot warm and dry even on icy days. The half-high shaft provides in combination of conventional lacing with a Velcro closure for a perfect fit. The stable fit is rounded off by the anatomically pre-shaped Ortholite® insole, which ensures optimum power transmission thanks to the harder PU foam in the pedal area. Reinforced toe and heel caps provide further protection from impacts and rocks. For added comfort and protection, the EVA midsole has incorporated with a cushioning element in the heel area.
The AM Flat sole provides with the graduated Hexagon profile in the pedal area in combination with the soft SUPtraction® Flat rubber compound for perfect grip on the pedal and a lot of riding fun. In the toe and heel area, the sole has a deeper profile that provides the necessary grip in carrying and pushing passages. The certified leather from Terracare® comes from German production and was manufactured in a particularly environmentally friendly way. The comfortable Ortholite® insole is made of environmentally friendly Eco Plush PU foam and 50% recycled polyester. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials.

ECO FINISH
VAUDE products bearing the Eco Finish been waterproofed in an environmentally-friendly way without fluorocarbons (PFC). Ich habe den Schuhe bei Regen und kalter Witterung getragen Sind absolut wasserdicht und schützen ausreichend vor Kälte! Die Passform ist gut, habe ihn 1 Nummer größer genommen, wegen dem Primaloft Warmfutter
Premetto dicendo che questo è il mio primo paio di scarpe invernali, quindi non posso fare un paragone con altri modelli. Al momento le ho provate durante una sola uscita con una temperatura compresa tra i 5 e i 10 gradi, utilizzando un normale calzino di spugna e non ho mai sofferto il freddo. Non testate ancora in condizioni di bagnato né con clima più freddo. La suola attualmente consente un ottimo grip sui pedali sia durante le fasi di salita che di discesa. In precedenza usavo un paio di scarpe flat Five Ten con suola Stealth abbastanza usurate. Cercherò di aggiornare la recensione dopo averle testate in altre uscite.

Eine Nummer größer nehmen und mit dicken Socken fahren (Skisocken Falke SK1); sehr schöner Neopren Abschluß oben, schön hoher Schaft, noch akzeptabel leicht anzuziehen; gefahren bisher bis -2°C und bei Graupelschauer bis strömendem Regen. Alles richtig gemacht Vaude !
Die Schuhe an sich sind echt super. Halten gut warm und sind (im Gegensatz zu den zuvor von mir gefahrenen Pearl Izumi) wirklich wasserdicht. Die Sohle ist ebenfalls top. Fest genug und griffig auch wenn's nass wird. Allerdings fallen die Schuhe im vorderen Teil recht breit bzw. voluminös aus. Ich hatte laut Größentabelle 44 genommen (270 mm Fußlänge und 96 mm Breite ohne Socken) und habe noch ziemlich viel Platz im Zehenbereich mit "mitteldicken" Merino-Socken. Ich würde also Leuten, die zwischen zwei Größen liegen oder schmale Füße haben, eher zur kleineren Größe raten, sofern sie nicht vor haben sehr dicke Socken zu tragen.
