The mounting rails can be mounted in two different heights, so that the bags can be mounted very low down (Low Rider). The side frame supports the bag from the side - and prevents wobble or tilt efficitively.

This rack is not adequate for front wheel with full suspension fork. The system is badly design and the rack will keep sliding down the fork. For back wheel, it works ok.
Sehr ausgeklügeltes System. Perfekt für Radreisen! Ich habe den Träger an meinem Fully und muss sagen, sowohl hinten als auch vorne passt er perfekt. Der Halter lässt sich problemlos und schnell demontieren.
I bought it two years ago and have had no issue with this rack. I have used it on my MTB bike on many short trips and in long trip in Caucasians mountains on roads with stones. The rack stands on the same place where i fix it.
Sehr gut durchdachter und hochwertiger Gepäckträger von Thule. Montiert am Scart Light 9.0 als Heckgepäckträger. Einfache und logische Montage, viele Justage Möglichkeiten, absolut fester Sitz. Keine Hartplastikschalen für die Rahmenmontage sondern Silikonschalen, dadurch keine Kratzer am Rahmen. Nicht ganz so preiswert, aber Qualität hat halt seinen Preis. Tipp: passende preiswerte Hecklampe Trelock LS 812 TRIO FLAT Rücklicht.
Thule Tour Rack Gepäckträger + Pack'n Pedal Tour Rack Seitenrahmen Meine Erfahrung bei einer Rundtour-Tour von ca. 850 km / 4000 HM. Meist asphaltierte Radwege. (Mainradweg Frankfurt am Main bis Bamberg, Main-Donaukanal, Tauber, Neckar, Rhein) Aber auch Schotterpisten und einige Trails wurden befahren. Gepäckgewicht 2 x 6 kg (oder mehr je nach Getränkevorrat) in Ortlieb Back-Roller Classic - Taschen. Fahrrad Cube AMS 120 29 Race 2013 Mountainbike. Die Montage war etwas fummlig aber problemlos. Es gibt gute Videos bei Youtube mit Montageanleitung. Der Gepäckträger hat sich nicht gelockert und ist nicht verrutscht. Das Fahren war sehr komfortabel, da auf Grund der Montage an der gefederten Schwinge Unebenheiten gut abgefedert werden. Natürlich muss man sich an die Hecklastigkeit erst einmal gewöhnen. Es kann zu Schwingungen kommen und man muss vorsichtig durch engere Kurven fahren. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Ich denke es gibt nichts Vergleichbares auf den Markt für MTB Fullys. Ich bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob ich diesen Gepäckträger an ein neues Carbon-Fully montieren würde. Bei meinem 10 Jahre alten MTB aus Alu war das Risiko, dass etwa verrutscht und es zu Lackschäden kommt vernachlässigbar. Aber wie schon erwähnt, es ist nichts verrutscht.
