4-piston disc brake with excellent braking power for front and rear: Shimano XT BR-M8120
The new DEORE XT comes with either a two-piston brake for cross-country use or a four-piston brake for trail/enduro use. The new design of the brake lever, which is mounted at an angle to provide two points of support on the handlebars, significantly increasing stiffness, provides more direct feedback and braking performance, which is further enhanced by SERVO WAVE technology. The braking systems are therefore characterized by faster response, higher performance and shorter empty travel.The original mountain bike group continues its legacy of remaining the standard for mountain bikers everywhere. Nearly three decades in, the DEORE XT brand is defined by its trail-tested durability, reliability and performance. Recognizing that today’s mountain bikers are riding faster and confidently on more technical terrain, the legacy of DEORE XT is more important than ever. Hab die 8120 hier gekauft. Top Preis. Schnelle Lieferung. Bike-Discount ist mittlerweile mein Favorit. Fahre am Enduro/DH-Bike die Vorgängerbremse 8020. Für mich das Nonplusultra. Die 8120 steht ihr in nichts nach. Die abgestützen Hebel und die Optik sind ein Gewinn. Die Performance ist perfekt. Ich fahre grundsätzlich original Shimano-Metallbeläge ohne Kühlrippen und habe die mitgelieferten Resin mit Kühlrippen ausgetauscht (auch ohne Kühlrippenbeläge habe ich in schweren und langen Downhills noch nie Fading gehabt). Dadurch beißt die Bremse noch brutaler. Wer etwas besser dosieren mag, lässt einfach die Resin drin. Montage und Entlüftung war wie immer bei Shimano super easy. Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Kommt an meinem neu aufgebauten Tallboy mit 200er Scheiben vorne und hinten zum Einsatz.
