Cup & Cone Bearing
Angular contact bearings of the cup & cone type offer greater strength than sealed cartridge industrial bearings due their ability to displace lateral and vertical loads more effectively for super smooth rotation and longer durability. Angular contact bearings also allow easier maintenance, adjustability and serviceability.
Center Lock System
The CENTER LOCK system makes an easy rotor installation possible with spline mount and a lock ring. The lock ring mounting system reduces the total working hours by shortening the amount of time of both installation and de-installation. In addition, the secure fixing by the spline mount enhances precision and rigidity while improving braking efficiency.

Läuft nach 3 Jahren extrem rau. Konen sind nach rund 3 Jahren Vielnutzung (im Alltags-E-Bike) im Prinzip durch. Komplettes Neueinstellen/Fetten hat geholfen, aber sie laufen weiterhin sehr rau. Vermutlich ist es empfehlenswert sie vor der ersten Nutzung ordentlich einzustellen und zu fetten damit sie länger halten. Sie sind auch nicht sehr brauchbar abgedichtet, würde aber für den Alltagsgebrauch in der Stadt genügen.
The hub is fine, the seals keep basic dirt out but on longer usage it's not 100% closed. The freehub that comes with the FH-M3050 is however rather bad. Both units I bought have quite a lot of play which increases even over the time that cassette does not track very well. It's better to upgrade to better type freehub when it's used very regular (daily as I do).
