Selle Italia has been investing in research and development since its inception, because it believes that growth is only possible through innovation, and last summer it launched "Green-Tech": a production process that makes it possible to manufacture products with a low environmental impact, environmentally sustainable, fast and at competitive costs. It is an automated plant. It allows the production of high quality saddles without the use of adhesives and polyurethanes. Substances known to have a strong environmental impact.
For the production of the saddle was used Flex Control - technology, that is, a special shell composed of two elements with different flexibility, which, compared to products of the same market segment, ensures greater comfort and resistance. The third component is the frame made of Fec Alloy, an iron-carbon steel alloy with high strength and flexibility.

Ich hab mir den Sattel gekauft, weil ich dieses Modell auf einem anderen Rad habe und sehr zufrieden bin. Aber diese Ausführung ist anders aufgebaut und geht leider gar nicht: Der Sattel hat eine gummiartige Oberfläche, die an der Sattelnase eine deutliche Kante bildet. An dieser "Gummikante" bleibt die Radhose ständig hängen, teilweise führt das dazu, dass die Haut der Oberschenkelinnenseite mit eingeklemmt wird. Das ist extrem unangenehm, und die Radhose macht das auch nicht lange mit. Wenn man sehr breitbeinig fährt, geht es, aber das ist ja keine Lösung. Ansonsten ist das für mich ein sehr bequemer Sattel, und ich werde auch wieder so einen kaufen, nur eben nicht diese Ausführung.
