I used this tyre to upgrade my XC hardtail and went tubeless in the same go. Has more grip, but a tiny bit more rolling resistance then XC tyres.
Ich bin von der Serienbereifung (Schwalbe Smart Sam) auf Nobby Nic (29x2,25 Performance) gewechselt. Es war ein deutlich spürbarer Unterschied! Smart Sam ist für Straße, "wassergebundene Wegdecke" und Feldwege. Für viel mehr ist er nicht geeignet. Bei losem und feuchtem Untergrund gab es bei mir mit dem Nobby Nic viel besserer Grip, auch bergauf und auf Gras merkt man mehr Kraftübertragung und Schub. Da ich noch nicht so schnell unterwegs bin kann ich zur Kurvenhaftung nicht so viel sagen, aber es fühlt sich auch besser an, weniger rutschig.
