The Schwalbe Marathon Plus is the Unplattbar MTB tire. With ECE-R75 test mark for fast e-bikes. On the central web it rolls easily over solid paths. The strong outer lugs have bite in the terrain. The SmartGuard offers superior puncture protection. Good visibility even in the dark thanks to reflective strips on the sidewalls.
Special tires are necessary for fast E-bikes. The best solution is tires with ECE-R75 certification, valid throughout Europe.
Unplattbar
Most effective protection belt available for bicycle tires. A substantial, 5 mm thick layer of flexible, special india rubber offers durable protection. Works also for objects that lodge in the tread. Even a thumbtack won’t harm it.
You can never completely rule out a puncture. However, with the Marathon Plus bicycle tyre you are well protected against typical puncture devils such as shards or granules. Always use a pressure gauge to set the air pressure on all Marathon Plus tyres. Due to the special construction, a thumb pressure test is not sufficient.
