Comfort for any terrain: The Salewa Puez Mid Powertex hiking boot

The abrasion-resistant, mid-cut upper is reinforced with a toe cap and an all-round protective rubber rand. The integrated waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane offers reliable protection in wind and weather.

The special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying degrees of stiffness and soft heel cushioning and the soft, recycled and adaptable CFF footbed, together with the Volume Reducer insole supplied, ensure a high level of comfort and an individual fit.

The Puez Mid Powertex trekking boot is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which ensures optimum grip and traction on technical terrain. The special feature of the sole, however, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special thermoplastic sole plate that extends over the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe offers high flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort while at the same time providing high rigidity and stability in the forefoot and heel area. The result is an ideal combination of flexibility and support. The proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® lacing also further increases stability in the ankle and midfoot area: the patented system connects the lacing system, sole and heel, thus guaranteeing a secure hold and flexibility at the same time. The Climbing Lacing system also enables precise lacing in the toe area for an even more precise fit, more support and an ideal fit

This mid-cut trekking boot for men carries the Salewa Committed symbol and meets Salewa's strict environmental and sustainability standards to minimize its ecological footprint. The customizable CFF footbed is made from recycled mesh fabric and the waterproof, breathable membrane is PFC-free.

Description ^Pomoca® Gliding Path supports the natural s-shaped rolling movement of the foot. A special s-shaped lug construction, the Gliding Path, ensures a smooth rolling motion and reduces deformation energy. A traction zone next to the sliding path provides grip on different terrains thanks to the lug structure.

The 3F system combines the lacing system, sole and heel - for the perfect combination of fit, flexibility and support.

OVERLAP CLOSING
The Overlap Tongue construction provides a perfect wrap around the foot for improved precision and maximum comfort on the arch.
