The unique mid-height boot last construction features Salewa's patented 3F system that connects the shank area, sole and heel to ensure a comfortable, supportive and flexible fit. This is further supported by the shock absorbing EVA midsole for durable rebound. The shoe is equipped with a flexible ankle shank, heel stabilizer and rubber toe cap for added stability and extra protection.
It allows your foot unrestricted freedom of movement and optimal support at the same time. With climbing shoe lacing system up to the toe area, which can be precisely adjusted for greater precision on technical terrain. Underfoot, the outsole's Pomoco rubber compound and deep lug and notch tread pattern ensure reliable grip and the versatility to tackle a variety of terrain types, from mud and grass to rock, ice and snow. The MTN Trainer Lite Mid for men is a lightweight, mid-cut mountaineering shoe for three seasons. It is suitable for technical hikes and long backpacking trips in all weather conditions.

Gore-Tex®
GORE-TEX® fabrics lead the industry of technical clothing in the provision of waterproof protection, breathability and durability. The GORE-TEX®membrane is completely water- and windproof and at the same time allows sweat to pass through it. The membrane is formed by pores (over 9 billion pores per square inch) which are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule preventing water penetration and helping the skin breathe. Resistance tested in the lab, simulating the most extreme atmospheric conditions.

Flex Collar
The FLEX COLLAR increases the ankle‘s rear range of motion and comfort during descents, thanks to a curved shape that follows the plantar flexion of the ankle.
Pomoca®
Pomoca® Gliding Path facilitates the natural S-shaped roll-through of the foot. A special S-shaped tread pattern – the “Gliding Path” – ensures a seamless roll-through and reduces deformation energy. A traction zone alongside the Gliding Path offers good footing on varying terrain.
