This shoe is designed for high comfort while hiking and the SALEWA® 3F system provides flexibility, heel hold and a stable, secure fit. The durable EVA midsole provides a soft touchdown and does an excellent job of absorbing shock, even on rough surfaces. Plus, the climbing lacing and flexible eyelets make the shoe easy to adjust for more precision on technical terrain.

Tuned to the demands of hiking, the POMOCA® outsole has a lug design that provides stability, grip and adhesion and supports natural foot movement even off paved trails.

The Alp Mate Mid is a reliable, waterproof 3-season solution for long alpine hikes and backpacking trips.

Pomoca^® Gliding Path facilitates the natural S-shaped roll-through of the foot. A special S-shaped tread pattern – the “Gliding Path” – ensures a seamless roll-through and reduces deformation energy. A traction zone alongside the Gliding Path offers good footing on varying terrain.
