Adaptable and comfortable women's hiking shoe: The MS Alp Trainer 2 Mid GORE-TEX® by Salewa
The shoe offers a precise fit, securely encloses your foot, provides support, and is comfortable the first time you put it on. Salewa's patented 3F System incorporates a steel cable and provides firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar gives the ankle more room to move backward and increases comfort on the descent. In addition, the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) lets you choose between different insoles to tailor the shoe volume to you. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for individual tightening all the way to the toes - for better performance on technical terrain.
The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, offered only by SALEWA®, improves performance and control on a wide variety of mountain terrain. With its special climbing, grip and braking zones and aggressive lug design, it also excels in wet and muddy conditions. The Alp Trainer 2 is a lightweight, agile and comfortable shoe - an excellent choice for hiking in the high mountains.

Technnoligies
Gore-Tex®
In technical apparel, GORE-TEX® fabrics are at the forefront of waterproofing, breathability and durability. The GORE-TEX® membrane is completely waterproof and windproof, while allowing evaporated perspiration to pass through to the outside. The membrane is made up of pores (1.4 billion pores per square centimeter) that are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule, so water can't penetrate but the skin can breathe. Durability was tested in the laboratory by simulating the most extreme atmospheric conditions.
CLIMBING LACING
Climbing Lacing provides precise lacing in the toe area of the shoe, for increased support and performance in difficult terrain.
