So that it remains harmonious even in rough conditions, we install the sensitive air suspension fork Rock Shox Judy Silver TK with its 100mm travel and reliable Shimano BR-MT200 brakes for the necessary deceleration. When it comes to the drivetrain, you can fully rely on SRAM's NX Eagle 12-speed shifting, which provides you with the right gear in every situation with its large 11-50 tooth cassette. For plenty of grip in the terrain on the one hand and great rolling behavior on asphalt on the other hand, we specify the brand new Continental Ruban in comfortable 2.6" width. The high-quality package is rounded off by noble LEVELNINE components and a comfortable Natural Fit Sequence saddle - the tour can begin!

What is new with the Bosch Performance Line CX engine in model year 2021?
Performance upgrade and new features
A riding experience that sets the benchmark: From model year 2021, the Performance Line CX ensures even more riding enjoyment on the trail - with further developed software and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The increased torque ensures greater performance, supporting you with even more power, especially in low cadences. In eMTB and Turbo mode, this leads to significantly faster acceleration and makes hill starts much easier. Thanks to a broader cadence range, unpredictable riding situations can be mastered even more effectively - for example in the case of late gear shifting or accelerating out of tight corners. Riding remains smooth and free from jolts, even when out of the saddle or in Turbo mode.
Next-level eMTB mode
The progressive riding mode for every occasion: Advanced eMTB mode ensures eMountain bikers are well-prepared for whatever riding situation the trail may have in store. New sensor and motor control functions give eMountain bikers a much wider range of dynamic and natural support. Riders continue to benefit from the proven technology of eMTB mode: Depending on pedal pressure, progressive motor support adapts perfectly to the riding situation. The improved adjustment of eMTB mode ensures optimum traction control in all gears and enables organic handling (AKA 'power on demand'). Start-up behaviour is much finer and more sensitive - especially in low gears. Due to the increased torque, the drive unit supports an even wider cadence range.
Extended Boost
Extended Boost is the unrivalled function for negotiating exposed roots, steps and stones on the trail with ease, even uphill. The eMTB can be maneuvered with much greater agility and ease on technical sections. The unique dynamism means that obstacles can be overcome with ease by applying the right amount of pressure to the pedal. The pedals rarely, if ever, jam. The new, innovative function in eMTB mode can be controlled to optimum effect in all riding situations. If the front wheel is already on the step, a slight pedal pressure is all it takes to give the decisive "kick". This takes pedal management to a whole new level.

The new Bosch eMTB mode from 2021 - especially for eMountainbikers
For the ultimate Uphill Flow
For powerful eBiking in the mountains and on rough terrain: The eMTB mode of the Performance Line CX and Performance Line switches between the Tour and Turbo modes. To control the bike even on difficult sections, the further optimised eMTB Mode supports eMountain bikers with maximum sensitivity, allied with progressive power delivery: with a maximum torque of up to 75 Nm on the Performance Line and 85 Nm on the Performance Line CX and motor support between 140% and 340%. Depending on the pedal pressure applied, the motor dynamically boosts the rider's own performance. The eBiker does not have to change the riding modes manually. Starting on steep slopes is no problem, while riding on mountain trails is noticeably easier and the eMountain biker benefits from significantly better traction. This provides a natural riding sensation and optimum performance on the trail.

Geometrie
Hallo, sind seit 3 Wochen stolze Besitzer von einem 17"- und 23"-Zoll Bike und total begeistert. Wir sind gern auf Feldwegen unterwegs, wobei Asphalt davor, oder danach kaum vermeidbar ist ... dann gibt es diverse Steigungen, die früher nur, wenn unvermeidbar gefahren wurden und teilweise auch sehr schnelle Abfahrten, oft mehrere Kilometer lang. Die BIkes sind dabei super stabil und die Bremsen zeigen auch keine Schwächen. Normalerweise schreiben wir keine Bewertungen, aber diese muss einfach sein :-) . DIe Bikes sind überraschend leicht, viel leichter als solche mit Powertube, agil, haben eine nahezu perfekte Geometrie (bei meiner Frau hat alles gepasst ;-) ), den stärksten Antrieb, die fetteste Bereifung, an Schaltung SRAM mit 12-Gang gewöhnt man sich schnell und funktioniert hervorragend (mehr gibt es nicht; war vorher 25 Jahre Shimano fixiert) einen mehr als ausreichenden Akku, weil Reichweite haben wir noch nie ausnutzen können und über den Service von Bike-Discount können wir auch nur Positives berichten. Wer vergleicht kommt m.E. so gut wie nicht an diesem Modell vorbei. UND wer auf Leichtbau wert legt kann die kleinen Rahmengrößen auch auf unter 20kg tunen...
Hab das ZR Team Hybrid jetzt knapp 2 Jahre und bin total zufrieden. Die SRAM und der Bosch CX arbeiten perfekt zusammen und sind in dem Preissegment bei keinem anderen E-Bike zu finden. Das gleiche gilt für die Rock Shox, welche zugegeben nicht die teuerste auf dem Markt ist aber ausreichend und vor allem auch hier besser als die meisten Mitbewerber mit der günstigsten Suntour Variante. Das Bike macht auf Asphalt eine gute Figur, der Motor unterstützt (eMTB-Modus) ohne zu sehr im Vordergrund zu stehen. Die 29" heben einen über jede Bordsteinkante. Richtig Spaß kommt natürlich erst im unebenen Gelände auf. Ich hab bisher knapp 2.000km im Taunus hinter mir und hier entfaltet das Radon sein volles Potential. Für viele Downhill-Fahrten bzw. wenn man die Federung lieber butterweich wie in einer Sänfte mag, sollte man dann allerdings doch eher zu einem Fully greifen. Durch den halbintegrierten Akku ist das Bike dementsprechend leichter als andere, was beim Transport schon einiges ausmachen kann, speziell, wenn man mehrere davon auf den Heckträger packt. Manche "Bio"-Trekkingräder wiegen teilweise gleich viel oder mehr, wenn man den Akku beim Radon abmacht. Fazit: Tolles Rad mit guten Komponenten zu einem sehr guten Preis. Wir haben jetzt noch ein ZR Lady mit gleichem Motor bestellt für meine Frau bestellt.
