To get in at the entry-level of the model series, we offer a complete Fox suspension, consisting of the Fox 34 Performance FIT GRIP in the Boost format as well as a sensitive Fox Float DPS Performance EVOL LV with a large air chamber at the rear. For the drive, we rely on the high quality Shimano SLX 12-speed group - the 10-51 cassette means the largest range is always available to you on the trail. We combine the sturdy and reliable DT Swiss M1900 wheels with the grippy Maxxis Forecaster tires to generate enough grip even in difficult conditions. Race Face attachments, a mechanically controlled vario seat post and the tried-and-true SDG Bel Air V3 complete the SKEEN TRAIL CF 9.0 and make it into a lively companion on your next trail adventure!
The Skeen Trail Family
Our SKEEN TRAIL models are trail bikes that offer an almost perfect balance of uphill and downhill qualities thanks to a modern frame geometry with flat steering and steep seat angle and are optimized for great fun. They roll on 29-inch wheels. 130/140 millimeters of travel are available at the front and 120 mm at the rear. The wheel nimbly takes every curve and you can pedal speedily uphill unaffected from any drive influences. In high-speed passages, it remains firmly rooted on the route and the high level of running smoothness gives you tons of self-confidence on the downhill. The Boost axis dimensions on the front and rear wheel make it possible to use the latest components.

An sich ein sehr gutes Trailbike mit überragendem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hinsichtlich der verbauten Komponenten. Leider ließ die Qualität der Endmontage stark zu wünschen übrig, hier wurden unter anderem eine undichte, mit grauem Sanitärsilikon abgedichtete Hinterradbremse, viel zu locker angezogene Schraubverbindungen (trotz aufgedrucktem Drehmoment) und ein quietschender Antrieb geliefert. Da das Rad für einen zeitnah anstehenden Urlaub gekauft wurde, war eine Rückgabe keine Option und die Mängel mussten auf eigene Faust behoben werden. Ohne handwerkliche Skills kann ich von einem Kauf also nur abraten.

I'm enjoying this bike a lot since I got it. I think it's best value for the money right now in a trail bike, around the so-called downcountry segment, that you can find. And unlike other options it was available right now. Mine came with a couple of minor issues, including a tiny paintwork defect, but Bike Discount offered me a reasonable compensation for that which I gladly took. The delivery time was also way higher than expected: it took 16 days to arrive since I purchased it, for which I did get no compensation, and that's the main reason I'm giving it four stars. Had it been the delivery time more reasonable, I'd have gone with the 5/5. All things considered, I'd buy it again.
