The Render Family
The RENDER is now a modern classic that flaunts horsepower and continuous performance. Our trail all-rounder is powered by Bosch’s most powerful motor, the Performance Line CX, with its 85 Nm of torque and a maximum assist of 340%. And it does that for a long time, because the RENDER down tube has the large Powertube battery with 625 Wh of capacity. This is beautifully integrated into the down tube, which houses all of the cables for the gear system or the vario support in one rail system. The front frame is made of carbon and is unique in its shape with the wing-like connection from the top to the down tube, which also houses the shock. 160 mm of travel on the front and 140 mm on the rear together with the 29” wheels provide tremendous running smoothness and security. Short chain stays and a sophisticated geometry keep the RENDER very agile and maneuverable. The central seat position gives plenty of control of the bike and invites you to take epic trips. The Render Frame
Our RENDER is a modern classic. Since the season 2022, it is also coming as a revision for the new Bosch Smart System. What remains is the ultra-modern, lightweight and very rigid carbon frame with the concise wing between the top tube and down tube, which also elegantly accommodates the shock. Also retained is the 140 mm of travel at the chainstay, which we combine at the front with 160 mm suspension forks. The high-capacity 750 Wh battery is housed in the down tube, which powers the brutally strong Bosch Performance CX motor with its 85 Nm. Also new is the charging socket for the battery, which is located on the left side of the seat tube and is protected from dirt by a small, rotating disk when not in use. The speed sensor sits in the latest RENDER variant in the dropout. The signal-giving magnet rotates in the rear brake disk. Optionally, the new RENDER frame can accommodate a display in the top tube, where you then have all the data directly in view, which is extremely convenient.

Bosch - the smart system for e-bikes
At the start into the networked e-bike world, Bosch is equipping the top drive unit Performance line CX for the future. The well-known motor with a new connectivity is accompanied by Bosch's brand-new PowerTube 750 battery - for longer riding pleasure with a significantly increased range. Beside the new Kiox 300 display, the new LED remote, and the new 4A charger, the new smart system also includes the new eBike Flow app, which now is the center for customizing your e-bike! Thanks to the network, you can easily retrofit new functions or install updates "over-the-air". Of course, you can also track your activities and customize the riding modes. The retrofittable "ConnectModule" is intended to increase security, enabling new options for e-bike theft protection. For example, an acoustic alarm can be triggered in the event of an attempted theft, and the bike can also be tracked if it has been stolen. Further features are planned to promise more riding fun and safety with the smart system by Bosch.

Power on the hill
The maximum torque of 85 Nm has a noticeable effect on your riding behaviour when eMountain biking. The powerful motor enables rapid acceleration after tight turns and obstacles at a low cadence and facilitates starting up on the steepest of hills. For fast sprints, the motor also supports you at high cadence.
Intuitive handling
A mode for more focus: Specially designed for sporty use, eMTB mode offers you optimum control and intuitive handling, as you need to switch less between the different riding modes. With this clever function of the eMTB mode, technical sections can be mastered with confidence and obstacles such as root systems and rock gardens can be overcome by applying targeted pedal pressure with the Extended Boost. The Performance Line CX drive unit thus ensures even more riding enjoyment and a flow experience that sets the standard.

Enhancing the eBike
Use the eBike Flow app to download new features and updates for components such as the battery or motor and send them to your eBike via Bluetooth. That way it's always up to date and you get to enjoy more options.
Recording activities
Track your ride and fitness data as soon as you get started. If desired, the Activity Tracking for iPhone users can also sync all data automatically with Apple Health. When you take a break, the recording stops automatically.
Customising riding modes
Adjust the riding mode exactly to your needs: You can finely adjust the Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo riding modes so that they offer you more support or consume less power.

An end to tedious pushing. The new Walk Assist function can be activated via the LED remote and supports the rider on particularly steep climbs. Kiox 300 provides clear, visual guidance and facilitates intuitive operation. The display also supports you before or during the ride by clearly showing you the remaining range for all riding modes. This allows you to better assess which riding mode can be used to reach your destination.
Positioning as desired
The display mount allows for centralised positioning of the display on the handlebar and is adjusted as per your personal preference. The tilt angle of the display can also be individually adjusted — for optimum readability during the ride.

For less distraction and more safety. All important information can be captured quickly and easily thanks to the LED remote. The LEDs are also highly visible in sunlight, and the brightness of the display adapts flexibly to the ambient light: This means that readability is maintained even in changing light conditions and you are never dazzled. You can also quickly recognise the selected riding mode by the respective colour.
Smart connectivity
Greater flexibility, comfort, and safety: The LED remote connects the eBike with the eBike Flow app. This enables you to call up all important riding data, such as the duration of your ride or the distance covered, using your smartphone and to share this with other users. It is also possible to carry out software updates independently.
Smart Walk Assist
Even on the steepest of trails, when riding is no longer an option, you can push your eBike more easily with the help of Walk Assist: Simply press the minus button, move the eBike and you will already feel the support. The LED remote also acts as your guide, making handling easier for you. Walk Assist is especially helpful when eMountain biking in challenging terrain.

Mon retour après 600km : le vélo n'est pas des plus léger mais on trouve vite la façon de le faire aller. Vélo confortable, esthétiquement bien fini, très bon composants et équipements. Quelques craquements au début après quelques kilomètres mais après serrage ok. Livraison soigneuse.

It just need to cover properly the holes in the frame for cable routing and currently dust goes inside (not a big problem but neither an expensive solution). It is a pretty bike but not a very heavy one (among fully-powered siblings). Considering market prices, this is a must. Bike-discount works very well and have all sort of replacements for the bike, so I feel calm about repairing it.
Rapport qualité/prix imbattable. VTTAE très bien fini, très bien équipé. Ce n'est pas le meilleur en monté ni en descente, mais contentera même un rider exigent grâce à son moteur, ses suspensions, son autonomie et ses freins XT. Une bonne surprise.
Best value for money on the market in April 2024, this bike is far better equipped than many brand-name bikes sold for 70 ~ 100 % more €€€. I was very surprised by the Bosch gen 4 motor and its adaptive Tour+ and EMtb modes. On an identical all-mountain circuit riden in Tour+ mode, it is 30% more efficient than the Shimano EP8 on my previous Canyon Spectral:On in Eco and Trail modes ( = 30% less battery drain) It has also less natural feeling, but is funier to ride with. For sure the geometry won't suit a top EWS rider, but for the average guy it is fun and very versatile. It is a good climber and a good descender, it is agile in singletracks yet stable and reassuring. Perfect for very average riders like me, who despite their low abilities like to ride hard from start to finish ;) I did note a few minor faults that are easy to correct and quite forgivable given the price of the bike, such as a very cheap telescopic seatpost adjuster, not powerfull enough unvented resin pads, also an assembly that wasn't really state of the art (insufficient tightening of some screws, lots of grease spilling of the derailleur and headset, rear brake hose far too long on cockpit side, etc.)
Sehr schnelle Lieferung, Dienstag bestellt und Freitag erhalten!! Leider ist das Bike nicht wie abgebildet. Decals an der Gabel sind schwarz und kaum sichtbar, keine Klemmen zwischen den Leitungen, keine Gummiband am Kiox Kabel. Die Leitungen am Lenker sind ungleich und zum Teil extrem Lang. Liebloser Zusammenbau und die Lackierung scheint sehr dünn zu sein, Kratzer sind vorprogrammiert. An Fetten wurde auch gespart. Preis Leistung ist Top wer mit ein paar Problemen leben kann.
Seit einigen Wochen mit dem Render 9.0 750 unterwegs, hier meine Eindrücke: - FOX Dämpfereinheit Top, wenn sie mal richtig eingestellt ist - insgesamt gutes Fahrgefühl, Bosch Motor relativ leise - 750 Watt Akku: hatte zuvor 625 Watt, Unterschied nicht so extrem, hatte vor Jahren von 500 Watt auf 625 Watt gewechselt, damals deutlich mehr Range, ob das Smarte System von Bosch mehr Power benötigt? Dafür kann man endlich die Fahrmodi individuell anpassen, aber: die Flow App wird nach einem Jahr kostenpflichtig und wenn man seine Tour mit der App auf dem Handy aufzeichnet, ist der Akkuverbrauch vom Smartphone sehr hoch - XT Schaltung: da brauch es schon Geduld und wiederholte Einstellung für einen sauberen Gangwechsel, das war bei meiner vorigen SRAM NX Eagle deutlich flüssiger und zuverlässiger - XT Bremsen: gutes Ansprechverhalten, weniger Schleifgeräusche als bei Magura MT5 - Laufradsatz SUNringlé Düroc SD37 Expert umrüsten auf tubeless: eine Katastrophe! Felgen waren schon abgeklebt, Tubeless Ventil eingeschraubt, Reifen hält die Luft nicht. Support Anfrage bei Bike Discount und Radon ergaben keine Lösung des Problems. Im WWW dann auf ein Video von Schwalbe gestoßen, ein zusätzliches Felgenband aufgeklebt und dicht war der Reifen. - Carbonrahmen mit matter Lackierung: sehr empfindlich, erste kleine Lackschäden (Steinschlag) zu erkennen, da war die Lackierung bei meinem Cube besser - wollte mir eine Motorabdeckung als Ersatz bestellen, bisher nicht gelistet, nicht lieferbar ....; obwohl es sich um eine "Haumarke" handelt - Akku Abdeckung etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, ließ sich beim Cube deutlich einfacher montieren würde ich es noch einmal kaufen? im Nachhinein wohl eher das Render AL 8.0, hat zwar keinen Carbonrahmen, Komponenten für mich ausreichend (ähnlich meinem vorigen Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC). Hatte das Render 9.0 noch im Angebot gekauft und nicht als "MD" Modell (wobei beide identisch sind).
