You can comfortably set the four support modes from the handlebars, between Eco for long tours with many kilometres or Turbo for the maximum uphill sprint, you will always find the right power. With the Rock Shox Recon Gold, we ensure a completely safe and comfortable riding experience in every riding situation this season. Thanks to the generously dimensioned 100mm suspension travel and the voluminous Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tyres, you can iron out every bump and glide along in a relaxed manner. And if there is a sudden surprise lurking around the bend, no problem: with the snappy and well-dosed Shimano XT brake, you can decelerate without batting an eyelid. To complete the noble overall package, our product managers have selected the Shimano XT 12-speed shifting system, the favourite of all bike lovers, so as not to compromise on the drivetrain and to guarantee crisp gear changes even in the long term. And the whole thing is available both as a men's bike and in the women's version - it's our most versatile all-rounder.

What is new with the Bosch Performance Line CX engine in model year 2021?
Performance upgrade and new features
A riding experience that sets the benchmark: From model year 2021, the Performance Line CX ensures even more riding enjoyment on the trail - with further developed software and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The increased torque ensures greater performance, supporting you with even more power, especially in low cadences. In eMTB and Turbo mode, this leads to significantly faster acceleration and makes hill starts much easier. Thanks to a broader cadence range, unpredictable riding situations can be mastered even more effectively - for example in the case of late gear shifting or accelerating out of tight corners. Riding remains smooth and free from jolts, even when out of the saddle or in Turbo mode.
Next-level eMTB mode
The progressive riding mode for every occasion: Advanced eMTB mode ensures eMountain bikers are well-prepared for whatever riding situation the trail may have in store. New sensor and motor control functions give eMountain bikers a much wider range of dynamic and natural support. Riders continue to benefit from the proven technology of eMTB mode: Depending on pedal pressure, progressive motor support adapts perfectly to the riding situation. The improved adjustment of eMTB mode ensures optimum traction control in all gears and enables organic handling (AKA 'power on demand'). Start-up behaviour is much finer and more sensitive - especially in low gears. Due to the increased torque, the drive unit supports an even wider cadence range.
Extended Boost
Extended Boost is the unrivalled function for negotiating exposed roots, steps and stones on the trail with ease, even uphill. The eMTB can be maneuvered with much greater agility and ease on technical sections. The unique dynamism means that obstacles can be overcome with ease by applying the right amount of pressure to the pedal. The pedals rarely, if ever, jam. The new, innovative function in eMTB mode can be controlled to optimum effect in all riding situations. If the front wheel is already on the step, a slight pedal pressure is all it takes to give the decisive "kick". This takes pedal management to a whole new level.

The Bosch Intuvia Display – the intuitive control center
The Intuvia display can be read in all lighting conditions and the e-bike can be controlled easily and intuitively. Thanks to the separate control unit, your hands remain securely on the handlebar at all times, while the shift recommendation means you always pedal in the correct gear. This preserves the battery and increases your range. Intuvia means you always have all riding data clearly in sight.
Even if you have to push your e-bike on occasion, this can be achieved conveniently with Intuvia. Walk assistance provides support up to 6 km/h. For safety, walk assistance is activated in two stages. Thus, pushing the bike even with bulky items in the basket becomes easier.

Bosch PowerTube
Bosch batteries are an efficient, long-life energy source. Thanks to their enormous mileage, long service life and intelligent battery management system, Bosch lithium-ion batteries are among the most modern on the market. Bosch eBike rechargeable batteries combine low weight with ergonomic design and simple handling. The Battery Management System of the high-quality lithium-ion batteries detects potential sources of error and protects cells from overloading.
Bosch PowerTubes have the power to drive any ride and, thanks to their compact size and minimalist design, can be integrated with the eBike to ideal effect. There are two options for installing the battery: horizontal or vertical. New this year: PowerTube 400 and PowerTube 625. The sophisticated technology of the lithium-ion batteries that can be integrated within the frame ensures carefree riding enjoyment, while a safety catch prevents the battery from falling out even on challenging terrain. Nevertheless, the batteries can be removed with ease.

For maximum riding pleasure, lithium-ion PowerPacks demonstrably have maximum energy density with the smallest size and lowest weight on the market.
Simple to store and quick to charge
Modern Bosch lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge issues. Your battery will charge to 50% in about 2 hours, depending on the charger and PowerPack.
Ergonomic handling
It’s easy to remove and charge at home. The PowerPacks can also be conveniently charged directly on the bike.
No memory effect
Bosch batteries with lithium-ion cells can be charged quickly irrespective of your charge level at any time. Interruptions of the charging process do not harm the battery. Complete discharge is not required.
Extremely low self-discharge
Even after long periods of storage, e.g. over winter, the battery can be used without recharging. This means Bosch rechargeable batteries do not need to be recharged after a long break in use. For longer storage, a charge status of approx. 30 to 60% is recommended.
Long service life
Bosch batteries are designed for lots of trips, miles and years of service. The intelligent, electronic Bosch Battery Management System (BMS) protects lithium-ion batteries from extreme temperatures, overcharging, and excessive discharge.

Thanks to a rated capacity of 17.4 Ah and approx. 625 Wh energy content, the lithium-ion battery brings maximum ranges and altitudes within your grasp. The well-secured PowerTube 625 will not fall out of its housing, even on demanding terrain. But is still easily removed. |

So far, the e-bike is exactly what I'd hoped for: a boost for my everyday mobility. I still ride my conventional bike sometimes, but with the e-bike I don't get bad knees even on long journeys. After a long search, I decided on the Radon because of the price and the first-class luggage rack for my shopping.
Wir haben das Relate jetzt ca. eine Woche und sind bisher sehr zufrieden. Lieferung war gut, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Bezug auf die Komponenten wohl nur schwierig zu schlagen und das Rad fährt sich super. Einziger Kritikpunkt, aber das passiert vmtl. einfach Mal: Der Reifen am Vorderrad ist verkehrt herum aufgezogen. Sonst keine Mängel bei Verarbeitung oder Aufbau. 5*
