What is new with the Bosch Performance Line CX engine in model year 2021?
Performance upgrade and new features
A riding experience that sets the benchmark: From model year 2021, the Performance Line CX ensures even more riding enjoyment on the trail - with further developed software and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The increased torque ensures greater performance, supporting you with even more power, especially in low cadences. In eMTB and Turbo mode, this leads to significantly faster acceleration and makes hill starts much easier. Thanks to a broader cadence range, unpredictable riding situations can be mastered even more effectively - for example in the case of late gear shifting or accelerating out of tight corners. Riding remains smooth and free from jolts, even when out of the saddle or in Turbo mode.
Next-level eMTB mode
The progressive riding mode for every occasion: Advanced eMTB mode ensures eMountain bikers are well-prepared for whatever riding situation the trail may have in store. New sensor and motor control functions give eMountain bikers a much wider range of dynamic and natural support. Riders continue to benefit from the proven technology of eMTB mode: Depending on pedal pressure, progressive motor support adapts perfectly to the riding situation. For the ultimate Uphill Flow
For powerful eBiking in the mountains and on rough terrain: The eMTB mode of the Performance Line CX and Performance Line switches between the Tour and Turbo modes. To control the bike even on difficult sections, the further optimised eMTB Mode supports eMountain bikers with maximum sensitivity, allied with progressive power delivery: with a maximum torque of up to 75 Nm on the Performance Line and 85 Nm on the Performance Line CX and motor support between 140% and 340%. Depending on the pedal pressure applied, the motor dynamically boosts the rider's own performance. The eBiker does not have to change the riding modes manually. Bosch eBike rechargeable batteries combine low weight with ergonomic design and simple handling. The Battery Management System of the high-quality lithium-ion batteries detects potential sources of error and protects cells from overloading.
Bosch PowerTubes have the power to drive any ride and, thanks to their compact size and minimalist design, can be integrated with the eBike to ideal effect. There are two options for installing the battery: horizontal or vertical. New this year: PowerTube 400 and PowerTube 625. Schnelle Lieferung mit DHL-Fright, perfekt verpackt und professionell vormontiert,Lenker gerade gestellt und Vorbau festgezogen+Reifen aufgepumpt,das wars.Großer Rahmen+29er Reifen (2,6),deshalb ohne Luft in den Reifen,sonst hätte der Karton nicht mehr gepasst!Keinerlei Beschädigungen oder Kratzer am Bike,umfangreiches Handbuch, Montageprotokoll,also alles mit dabei im Karton.Austtattung sehr stimmig und zum Teil wesentlich besser als bei vergleichbaren Mitbewerbern,Sitzposition perfekt einstellbar.Sehr sicheres Fahrverhalten, gute Bremsen,griffige Schwalbe Reifen. Fazit: In jedem Fall und ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung!
Ich habe das Bike vor 6 Monaten hier gekauft. Die Lieferung und die komplette Kaufabwicklung waren vorbildlich. Da ich das Bike bestellt habe, als es verfügbar war, hatte ich keine Wartezeit. Es wurde innerhalb weniger Tage per Spedition geliefert. Das Bike hatte bisher keinerlei technische Defekte. Allerdings fahre ich seit Jahren MTB, somit kann ich sehr viel selbst machen. Die Qualität des Rades geht zu diesem Preis völlig in Ordnung. Man weiß ja, was man für Komponenten kauft, wenn man etwas Erfahrung hat. Ohne Erfahrung und ohne Probefahrt würde ich eher empfehlen vor Ort zu kaufen. Ich habe am Rad ein paar Komponenten getauscht. Eine gefederte Sattelstütze von bySchulz G2 LT erhöht den Fahrkomfort beträchtlich und passt gut zum Bike. Die gelieferten Reifen habe ich sofort getauscht. Ich mag die Marathon Plus MTB von Schwalbe sehr gerne - damit hatte ich noch nie einen Platten. Die taugen natürlich wenig in wirklich hartem Gelände. Aber dafür kauft man sich auch kein Hardtail, sondern ein Fully mit viel Federweg. Der einzige wirkliche Kritikpunkt ist der Motor. Der macht in diesem Rahmen wirklich bei jeder Fahrsituation deutliche Geräusche. Je nach Gang in unterschiedlichen Frequenzen. Das kann akustiksensiblen Zeitgenossen schnell lästig werden. In meinem Bekanntenkreis habe ich mit Abstand das lauteste E-Bike. Der zweite Kritikpunkt am Motor ist die Abschaltung. Das fiel mir erst auf, als ich mit meinen Freunden die erste Tour gemacht habe. Mein Bike beginnt bei ca. 22,5 km/h (GPS - nicht PURION) mit der Abschaltung. Bei 25 km/h ist dann Schluss. Das ist zwar ganz genauso, wie es der Gesetzgeber vorschreibt, aber bei den E-MTBs meiner Freunde beginnt die Abschaltung deutlich später. Bei denen ist erst im Bereich von ca. 27 km/h GPS komplett aus. Keines der MTBs ist getuned. Da wird es für mich sehr schnell sehr anstrengend - ohne Motorunterstützung mitzuhalten, besonders bergauf fahre ich da immer ein wenig hinterher.
Ich fahre das Rad nun seit ca. 2.000km. Bisher funktionert alles tadellos aber tatsächlich kann ich den Punkt mit dem Motorgeräusch voll bestätigen. Das Geräusch des Antriebs ist wirklich von Beginn an sehr störend. Und im direkten Vergleich mit E-Bikes anderer Marken aber ansonsten gleichem Antrieb ist der Motor im Radon tatsächlich deutlich lauter. Zweiter Kritikpunkt betrifft den Lack. Dieser ist sehr empfindlich und selbst mit dem Fingernagel kann man deutliche Striemen zeichnen.
Bisher völlig zufrieden mit meinem Kauf. Nach nun 800 km Laufleistung habe ich für mich alles perfekt eingestellt und eingefahren, die Zusammenstellung der Parts ist viel besser als bei meinem Bulls vorher, ich freue mich auf jede Ausfahrt wie ein kleines Kind. Mit einem Mini-Problemchen nach Lieferung wurde mir im Support sehr schnell und freundlich geholfen. Kann bisher nichts bemängeln, Ablauf der Bestellung und Lieferung sehr empfehlenswert und in das Bike bin ich ein bisschen verliebt.
La bici non solo ha un bell'aspetto (chic senza tempo), ma si guida anche in modo eccellente. I primi 1.600 sono stati fantastici, non vedo l'ora di saperne di più! Chiara raccomandazione di acquisto!
