At the front, the Rock Shox SID SL in the Select+ variant springs sporty-tight and offers plenty of control over the trail, if necessary you can calm it comfortably from the handlebars. Shimano contributes the groupset, the XT label stands for silky smooth shifting processes and reliable precision over the years, the 1x12 group with the large 10-51 teeth comprehensive cassette prepares you for any trail situation. The basis of the XC rocket is the super-light with about 950 grams JEALOUS full carbon frame, which leads all cables in its interior and thus also visually noble and elegant comes along. Through the clever arrangement of the carbon mats, the comfort is also not too short, supported by the light and flexing Newmen carbon components such as the Advanced seatpost and the 740mm wide Advanced carbon handlebar. There you can also operate the super-light yet biting Magura MT8 Pro brakes, which brake you in any kind of downhill dosed and powerful. We have specifically tried to keep the rotating mass small, so that your JEALOUS rolls well at all times and every power pulse is converted into propulsion. Perfectly suited is the very light Newmen SL X.A.25 wheelset, which impressively proves that lightweight construction, stability and durability do not have to exclude each other. Only the best of the best also in the tires: Schwalbe's proven cross country tire combination Racing Ray and Racing Ralph in the Super Ground variant is merciful to the balance and still has decent grip. More Cross Country Racing in the € 3,000 class than our JEALOUS 9.0 is not possible!
The Jealous Frame
More beautiful and cleaner than ever comes the revised Jealous 1x frame for the 2022 season. The brake line at the rear we have moved inside, so that the frame silhouette is not disturbed by anything. A positive side effect of this is that there are no more openings on the drive side of the frame, which emphasizes the stealth look of the Jealous. What has remained is the low frame weight of about 950 grams and the World Cup-proven geometry, which has already brought us several podium finishes. Even a world championship title has already been won on the Jealous.
