Technologies
SpeedGRIP Compound
The properties of the new SpeedGRIP Compound formulation are tailored for all weather conditions, regardless of whether the terrain is dry or wet. The new formulation retains the same polymer matrix as the specific mountain bike SmartGRIP Compound, improving the rolling efficiency.
Construction
Coupling a reinforced casing construction featuring a woven fabric bead-to-bead layer with a tubeless-ready Aramid bead optimized for wide modern rims, Cinturato™ Gravel Hard Terrain offers an extremely high level of puncture protection and a new level of performance in terms of rolling and grip, as well as great reliability - which is already what the Cinturato™ trademark stands for in Pirelli.
Tread
The tread of the Cinturato™ Gravel Hard Terrain is made up of low, densely packed knobs and is made with a rubber compound that guarantees grip, high adaptability to the terrain and, at the same time, resistance to wear. The height of the knobs is reduced to increase smoothness and limit deformation when cornering on terrain that does not allow penetration, guaranteeing excellent handling and a great sense of safety in both wet and dry conditions.
Puncture protection
An aramid fiber belt located underneath the tread in order to protect the casing from sharp objects: aramid is a fiber with high cut and abrasion resistance. Its light weight and flexibility also ensure rolling efficiency and overall performance of the tyre.

Gutes Rollverhalten, schwere montage u extrem hoher Verschleiß. Leider nicht empfehlen
Sehr guter Grip und Abrollverhalten. Bin sehr zufrieden.
Für leichtes Gelände optimal, fahre in jetzt schon eine Weile.
Konnte noch nicht die Erfahrung machen, dass man mit den Reifen tatsächlich deutlich schneller ist - aber sie laufen für jemand der 70% Asphalt und 30% harte Schotterwege dennoch extrem ruhig und angenehm. Trotz des guten Verhaltens auf Asphalt kommen die Reifen auf Schotterwegen gut klar, solange sie halbwegs trocken sind und nicht zu grob. Alles was die Reifen nicht mehr ab können würde ich auch meinem Gravel-Rahmen nicht mehr dauerhaft zumuten wollen. Dafür hab ich dann ein MTB...
Rollt gut auf Asphalt ab, schneller Gravelreifen. Gute Kurvenlage auch bei schneller Asphalt Abfahrt, sicheres Bremsen. Ausreichender Grip auf Schotter und Waldautobahn. Guter Pannenschutz ohne Probleme. Einfache Tubeless Montage auf DT Swiss felgen mit MucOff Milch. Sehr hoher Reifenverschleiss, nach 1.500km ist Hinterrad bereits ohne Mittenprofil. Zu teuer gemessen an der Laufleistung.
Montage ok, Dämpfung erstaunlich gut, Grip im Trockenen gut, mit tiefer Schotter ist bei 35mm nicht das Wahre. Sonst bin ich positiv überrascht! Auch das es Reifen mit 35 bzw als Cross mit 33mm gibt. Rollt gefühlt auch gut. Feuchtigkeit und Nasse habe ich noch nicht testen können und auch der Verschleiß dürfte angesichts einer Profilhöhe von 0,1mm noch interessant werden!
