These tires are light, supple and super grippy! Onza advertises the rolling resistance as 3 out of 5. Which is correct, I would say. I ride with xc tires in summer and these are definitely slower. But the grip is perfect for sloppy muddy and varied conditions. I can make crazy climbs and keep rolling through deep mud. The only downside is that they're on the slow rolling side. I also run them tubeless on reasonably high pressure, as the casing is very supple, so you don't need to go too low. Ridden for 120 km now, can't say anything about puncture protection. Only buy these if a lot of the terrain you ride is downhill or wet and/or technical.
