The upper has a heat-sealed layer that, combined with the insulating Koala Gore-Tex® membrane, guarantees warm protection from the elements.
The small TPU inserts provide excellent abrasion protection in key areas. The SLW3 wheel combined with the Velcro closure optimizes fit and comfort by allowing micro-adjustment and preventing annoying constriction at any point.
The successful combination of rotor and strap closure works on multiple levels: The SLW3 tightens the shoe from mid-instep to toe, while the strap secures the top of the arch. The Easyfit collar provides thermal insulation and waterproofing while offering unparalleled comfort and stretch.

Socks Tips
The socks worn in footwear with Gore-Tex® must match the functional characteristics of the footwear. Although you might think that thick socks are the first choice to protect you from the cold, they have a serious disadvantage: the thicker the sock, the less able it is to wick perspiration away from the foot. In the worst case, the sock even soaks up sweat completely. This creates the unpleasant feeling of dampness and wetness. However, this does not depend on the shoe. The wetness comes from the inside. So it's better to wear slightly thinner socks made of a functional material that wicks moisture away to the outside and thus promotes evaporation through the membrane pores.8030819344677

Der Schuh passt mir in der gewohnten 43 perfekt. Im Bereich des Oberfußes/ Übergang Schienbein ist viel Platz. Die Zehenbox engt in der Breite nicht ein. Der Einstieg in die Neoprensocke gelingt dank der Fingerschlaufen einfach, der Ausstieg ist mit einer Hand möglich. Bis 1°C hat er meine Füße zuverlässig warm gehalten. Darunter fahre ich eh nicht, da ich Minus Temperaturen bei Fahrtwind an den oberen Atemwegen extrem unangenehm finde. Ich denke, wenn man eine dickere Thermosocke tragen möchte empfiehlt sich, eine 1/2e Nr größer zu kaufen. Ansonsten hat die Sohle viel Grip auf den Pedalpins, der Drehverschluss arbeitet präzise und die Materialien sind robust und einfach zu reinigen.
