The Vibram flat sole Fort Williams is designed to improve traction and braking with unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces. The EVA midsole provides lighter weight and improved shock absorption. A simple lace closure, a classic way to enclose the foot while focusing on ease of use. Thermowelded layered construction provides maximum protection with less thickness and weight.
The new Easyfit collar in the entry area combines the extreme elasticity with the high thermal insulation of neoprene, increasing mobility and protection. The Koala Gore-Tex® membrane with its excellent breathability, combined with absolute water and wind resistance, ensures a perfect fit in all weather conditions.

Sock Tips
The sock you put on with your Gore-Tex® footwear is very important. Although highly padded socks can seem like the natural choice to protect your feet from cold, they tend to absorb the sweat produced by the foot, creating an uncomfortable sensation of moisture and wet. This is not related to the shoes, which are completely waterproof. We recommend you to use only reduced thickness socks, made with specific technical yarns which expel the moisture, in order to facilitate the evaporation through the membrane’s breathable pores.Technology

Meine Gebete wurden erhört. Endlich ein FlatPedal Schuh für den Winter. Und der hat mich voll und ganz überzeugt. Bequem, warm, trocken, super Grip. Ohne Gnade bei der Reinigung mit der Bürste drüber, auch das verkraftet der locker. for me AWARD 2022 bike shoes !!!
Bei der ersten Ausfahrt bei -2°C hatte ich leider schon nach 30 Minuten kalte Zehen (trotz dicken Funktionssocken). Auch die Sohle bietet auf Flatpedals ohne Pins bei Nässe leider keinen guten Halt. Positiv hervor zu heben sind die Passform und das der Schuh komplett wasserdicht ist (2h Fahrt im Schneeregen).
War anfangs leicht skeptisch ob er meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Nach den ersten Touren (~70km) bei -2° bis max 2° und viel Wasser, gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die Füssen bleiben trocken und warm. Keine abgefrorene zehen mehr. Bomben grip auf dem pedal, fast wie fest geklebt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!! ?
