Like its predecessor, the SPD-compatible Core Plus 2 offers you a reinforced NRG Air Carbon sole with 5 ventilation openings and an upper with seamless unibody construction to reduce pressure points. The SLW3 twist closure with extra velcro allows you to open the shoe with just one button.

NRG Air Carbon Sole
NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole is even stiffer thanks to a new blend of fiberglass and carbon reinforced nylon. Like the entire collection of road soles, this sole is equipped with the Airflow ventilation system, which ensures optimal air circulation inside the shoe thanks to the openings. Compatible with SPD pedals.

BioMap Unibody
Reduces conventional seams for greater comfort and lighter weight: not just an idea, rather our dogma! This is exactly why Northwave is a pioneer in hot gluing processes and their application in Unibody upper constructions. Thanks to Biomap Unibody technology, we can process thinner-walled and therefore lighter materials while reducing the number of seams. The result is a perfect anatomical design that hugs the foot like a second skin, ensuring a tighter, more consistent fit.
