• HD Protection Bead2Bead consists of a, cross-woven, high-density (HD) protection layer that protects the entire tire.
• HD Protection Bead2Bead technology consists of a cross-woven, high-density (HD) protective ply that encapsulates and protects the entire tire carcass - tread center and tire shoulders. Consequently, the tread center as well as the tire shoulders are reinforced, so that the tire offers a very good puncture protection and a high durability.
• MICHELIN tires equipped with HD Protection Bead2Bead technology are designed specifically for demanding road cyclists looking for the best possible compromise between puncture resistance, durability and weight.

MICHELIN Bi-Compound

Bi-compound technology is an innovative two-component rubber compound in the same tire!

• The rubber compound of the center of the tread allows a very good transmission of torque, so that it serves as a "motor" when accelerating the rear wheel or as a "brake" when decelerating. These rubber compounds have been developed and optimized to provide equally high abrasion resistance and, in addition, safe braking on wet surfaces.
• The rubber compounds on the tire shoulders allow a very good performance as well as a safe handling in curves, thanks to an excellent grip - both on dry and wet surfaces.
