with fewer alternatives 26" these grip and roll well.

Absolutely fantastic tyre. Really champion tyre. Gives the best of nearly every World. - Rolls extremely fast, far faster than one would think considering it's not a slick. It's LIKE riding a slick! - Brilliant grip. No fear of slipping or sliding on-road - dry OR wet - and their off-road capability was surprisingly more capable than you would imagine (see below). - I've just worn out the first pair. I had only one puncture! And this was for BOTH tyres. Just one puncture for both for the life of the tyres. Not bad at all considering that every other tyre I've ever had will have had 5-10 punctures in its life, minimum. - I took them off road - very, off road. Well, not complete out and out Farmer John-level mud-plugging, but still fairly muddy, and won Strava KOMs on them! Beat a Muster champion (a province in Ireland). Most of my records have stood. I know there's a lot of factors to consider in competition, granted - but still, this little old bargain basement tyre gave me ALL the grip I needed in the muddy sections, and yet rolled like a slick on the paved/smooth sections of the routes. Theyr'e just really well-engineered. I don't know how the French do it so well. Maybe it's like their Peugeot/Citroen cars whose suspension/chassis setups bizarrely give the best of both Worlds, even though they shouldn't as they are contrary to each other: very smooth ride yet fantastic handling. They also do it for a fraction of the budgets. Anyway, I would highly recommend this tyre. It won't let you down. If they were €90 or €100 PER TYRE I would still choose them now, honestly. Vive les Francais!!! (From Ireland with respect and gratitude.)
