The right socks

Socks are the layer between the foot and the lining of the shoe. That's why it's important to make sure that they are optimally matched to the desired area of use. The GORE-TEX® membrane basically works independently of the socks used. Optimally constructed socks, however, can have a noticeably positive effect on wearing comfort, especially climate comfort

So make sure you choose the right mix of materials: 100% cotton absorbs a lot of moisture and releases it only very slowly. Moisture remains on the foot, the feet cool down. A mixture of high-quality virgin sheep's wool (e.g. Merino) and synthetic fibres (e.g. polyester, polyamide) is therefore advantageous.
