Ready for winter: the Cosmic Thermo bib tights with pad from Mavic
This bib tight is made of two different materials that have been carefully crafted. The main material is a very technical fabric from Mavic's well-known Italian suppliers: 4-way stretch, roughened back, with a high level of abrasion resistance, it offers the legs gentle support and freedom of movement. The knit construction along with the roughened interior provides insulation benefits that are unusual for high-performance stretch materials.
A stretch membrane fabric is used on the lower legs, which are more exposed to the elements, to repel water and dirt. A revised Ergo Contact seat pad consists of a unique Ortholite® multi-layer construction that offers plenty of support yet is not bulky. The seat pad effectively absorbs shock and vibration while maintaining a close connection to the saddle. It's designed for improved moisture management and flexibility to give you more freedom of movement.
The bib shorts extend above the belly button in the front (for maximum warmth) and are cut lower in the back for this, so you don't overheat. The multi-panel construction allows for a precise fit, and special care has been taken to move the seams away from the back of the knees for increased comfort. Retroreflective details have been carefully incorporated, such as 360° visible reflective tape strategically placed where the legs move the most based on biomechanical studies.
