The new Magura Vyron V3 is very easy to install and does not require any rattling cables. The remote lever can now be mounted on a Magura brake lever with a suitable clamp or on the handlebar as usual with the supplied clamp. The lever is easily operated with the thumb and is very smooth and comfortable to use. The seat post has no charging socket and is powered by a replaceable battery that should last up to a year. A change that certainly has its advantages: Water, mud and garden hoses have no effect on the post. On the trail, the new Vyron worked reliably in all weathers. An all-round carefree package!

Endlich ohne Akku und wesentlich schneller! Kurzerhand habe ich mich für die neue Vyron Sattelstütze entschieden, da die komplett ohne Akkus auskommt. Die Batterien sind einfach und schnell getauscht und halten sehr sehr lange. Hinzu kommt, dass die Reaktionszeit zwischen Auslösung des Remotes und der Sattelstütze an sich enorm schnell geworden ist. Auch ein klasse Feature ist die Reduzierung des Hubs durch tauschen des Tauchrohrbodens. Eine Vario Sattelstütze mit der ich absolut zufrieden bin. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Der erste Eindruck nach 3 Testfahrten ist hervorragend. Die Stütze reagiert prompt und macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck.

Nach der etwas schlechten Erfahrung mit einer der ersten Modelle der Vyron habe ich den verschiedenen positiven Bewertungen und Werbeaussagen Glauben geschenkt. Fazit tatsächlich ist das Reaktionsverhalten der Stütze besser und die Remoteeinheit auch in einer Qualität wie man es erwartet. Die Qualität der Stütze mit der Batterie usw. ist i.O. ABER die Stütze bleibt nach längerem Stillstand trotz richtigem Luftdruck hängen, man hört das auslösen des Ventils deutlich aber sie bewegt sich nicht, erst nach kurzem anstupsen am Sattel fährt sie aus. Ein Stern Abzug Man kann ein etwas schwerere Bike nicht an der Sattelstütze hochheben, weil sich diese dann rauszieht und macht man das ein paar Mal zieht die Stütze Luft und leidliche Thema einsinken um 10 – 15 mm im oberen Bereich tritt zu Tage das gab es alles schon mal bei Wettbewerben. Ein Entlüften um das Einsinken wieder zu reduzieren ist mir nicht gelungen
