Data transfer for contract completion purposes
For the fulfilment of contract, we will transfer your data to the shipping company commissioned with delivery if necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider selected during the order process, we will pass on the payment data required for payment to the financial institution and possibly the payment service provider commissioned by us or the payment service provider selected by you. In part, the selected payment service providers may collect the data directly should you open an account with them. In such a case, you will have to register with your login data of the payment service provider during the order process. Identity and credit checking when selecting Billpay payment methods
If you choose to pay using one of the options from our partner Billpay GmbH https://www.billpay.de/en/ during the order process you will be asked to consent to the transmission to Billpay of the data required for identity and credit checking purposes, so that the payment can be processed. If you consent, your details (first name, surname, street and house number, postcode, town/city, date of birth, telephone number, and in the case of the direct debit the account details), as well as the details of your order, will be sent to Billpay.
For the purposes of this identity and credit checking process, Billpay or its authorised partner will send the details to credit rating and business information agencies, and will receive credit information based on a mathematical/statistical process which also includes the evaluation of address data. Billpay also uses the services of third parties for the purposes of detecting and protecting against fraud. The data obtained by these means will be stored in encrypted form by the third party, so that they can only be read by Billpay. This data will only be used if you select a payment type with one of our business partners, Billpay, otherwise the data will automatically be deleted after 30 minutes.
You may withdraw your consent to Billpay at any time. However, Billpay will have the right to process, utilise and transmit your personal details if required in order to fulfil the contractual payment obligations or if required by law, or ordered by a court or public authority.
After you select the purchase on instalments payment option and grant the required consent to the processing of your personal data, we will forward your personal data (first name, surname, address, e-mail, telephone number, date of birth, IP address, gender) together with the data necessary for processing your order (the ordered item, invoice amount, payment due dates, total amount due, invoice number, tax(es), currency, order date and time) to our partner, TARGOBANK AG & Co.
