Thanks to the innovative Varioflex technology, optimum vision is guaranteed whatever the weather, as the tint of the lenses adjusts automatically depending on the light conditions. Rubberised nose wings and temple tips hold the Eagle securely on the head and ensure a comfortable fit. The nose wings can also be individually adjusted. Varioflex
Varioflex is a lens technology that automatically adjusts the tint of the lens to the weather conditions. The self-tinting (photochromic) lens reacts to visible light. When exposed to light, chemical elements open up and create a flat, darkening effect. If the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the pane becomes lighter again. This process takes place in a matter of seconds. The result: a disc for a wide range of lighting conditions.
MIRROR
Mirror is a pane on which several layers of mirrors are applied. They protect against extreme glare and infrared light. Mirror is not only a feature of a highly functional lens, but also a style element.
FOGSTOP
Fogstop is a coating on the inside of the lenses. The coating is not smooth but rough - even "fissured" on a microscopic level. As a result, the droplets have no opportunity to form a closed layer, i.e. to fog up and thus obscure vision. This would only happen if the moisture managed to fill the fissures with water. Before this happens, however, the deposited moisture has long since condensed and the view remains clear.
HYDROPHOBIC
Hydrophobic is a moisture-repellent nanostructure on the windscreen that allows water to roll off. Dirt is also transported away. As a result, the windscreen is not only clean, but also dries faster.
OPTIMISED AIRFLOW
A strongly curved lens in combination with indirect airflow guidance ensures draught-free and fog-free vision even during fast-paced outdoor sports.
