The robust material in a highly visible signal color is windproof on the outside and water and dirt repellent thanks to a PFAS-free PU coating. The silver coating on the inside reflects body heat and prevents the body from cooling down.

This Deuter product is free from per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. Deuter is thus reducing the use of environmentally harmful substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.

By increasing the use of materials and technologies with a lower carbon footprint in our collections, we are working to minimise our carbon footprint in the long term. However, even with the greatest efforts, emissions cannot be completely avoided. We would like to offset all emissions that we can no longer reduce in our products today in collaboration with ClimatePartner.
