Sehr hilfreiches Gerät zu einem guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Dient in jedem Fall zur Steigerung der Sicherheit! Klare Empfehlung.
Grundsätzlich ist das Garmin RVR 315 ein sinnvolles Hilfsmittel. Es funktioniert sowohl sehr gut und zuverlässig mit der Garmin App als auch mit einer Garmin Smart Watch (hier z.B. forerunner 245 Music). Dennoch kann eine Kaufempfehlung nicht ausgesprochen werden. Grund: Ein Designfehler was den Ein-/Ausschalter betrifft. Dieser ist in die Gummiumhüllung integriert was zunächst sehr sinnvoll erscheint, ist damit doch ein Spritz- und Schmutzschutz gegeben.Die Gummiumhüllung ist jedoch nicht für häufige Bewegungsbelastungen im Bereich des Schalters ausgelegt. Das führt nach geschätzten 30 bis 40 Ein-/Ausschaltvorgängen zwangsläufig zu einem Einreißen des Gummis in diesem Bereich. Damit kann Feuchtigkeit in das innere des RVR 315 eindringen und ihn unbrauchbar machen. Hier muss Garmin nachbessern, es handelt sich um einen Designfehler. Wie es besser geht zeigt Garmin selbst bei der Serie Varia RTL 516.
