Garmin Speed Sensor 2
Garmin's cadence sensor 2 is quick to install and easy to maintain. Magnets or other exposed parts are no longer required. It can easily be moved between bikes and attaches to the hub of either wheel.

U need this when u are touring (sight seeing) at slow speeds or mtbing on steep climbs, when your speed is low (mostly under 10KM/H) GPS will pause all the time because it thinks you are stopped, speed sensor detects the revolution of the wheel so even at a few kilometers an hours it will continue measuring your speed and distance, even when you loose a (good) gps signal due to the trees/ bridges/tunnels it will read your speed and distance helping the gps device keeping track of your position. Easy connection, never fails, installs in 5 seconds, calibrates automatic, I wish the software was smart enough to use it as a ODO meter, but apparently they didn't thought about that simple function.
