Ride with confidence

Edge 530 is preloaded with the Garmin Cycle Map, including turn-by-turn directions and navigation alerts that notify you of upcoming turns. Edge 530 is smart enough to guide you back to the route — or back to start — if you deviate from it or decide to head home early. Tame the trails
When you need a change of scenery, Edge 530 is your go-to guide for mountain biking. Start by downloading the free Trailforks app from our Connect IQ Store and then unlock the Trailforks map content on your Edge. Featuring trails from more than 80 countries, Trailforks includes the best, most up-to-date information, including trail conditions, heatmaps and more. When you stop mid-ride, the new Forksight mode automatically displays upcoming forks in the trail and gives you context by showing where you are within a trail network. During the ride, Edge 530 tracks the epic details with new mountain biking metrics such as jump count, jump distance and hang time. Other mountain biking features include Grit, which rates the difficulty of a ride using GPS, elevation and accelerometer data, and Flow, which measures how smoothly you descend a trail so you have a score to beat next time.
Climb like a pro
Climbing can become your secret weapon with Edge 530 and the new ClimbPro feature. It automatically shows the remaining ascent and grade when you're climbing while following a route or course. This shows you how much you have left to suffer, helping you gauge your effort over the remainder of your ride.
SHIMANO STEPS eBike system
Pair a compatible Edge cycling computer with a supported SHIMANO STEPS eBike system, and receive a dedicated eBike status screen, data fields and support for system status and warning messages. In addition to Edge metrics — such as time, distance and speed — you can also view your assist level, gear position, battery life and remaining range during a ride.
Customise your device
Only Garmin lets you customise your device with free apps, widgets and data fields from the Connect IQ Store. Apps such as the AccuWeather MinuteCast let you know when the rain will stop so you can determine the ideal time slot for your ride. If you plan your rides on sites such as Strava, Komoot or Wikiloc, download those apps so you can have your favourite routes imported directly to your Edge. Or if you're looking for a nearby café or bike shop, use the Yelp app to download their locations, and route directly to them on your Edge device.

Super Gerät!
Toller kleiner Begleiter für Trainingserfassung und Navigation. Ohne Touch, daher nur über Buttons bedienbar. Die Navigation hinkt manchmal hinterher, so dass bei kniffliger Wegführung man nicht genau weiß wie man fahren soll. Auch reagiert es eher chaotisch wenn man einen anderen Weg fährt. Dann will es Undings zum vorigen Wegpunkt zurück, auch wenn man eigentlich wieder auf der geplante Route ist (bei Abkürzungen oder Sperrungen). Mit Pulsgurt sehr zu empfehlen. Die angezeigten Daten lassen sich gut organisieren.

Déçus de mon acquisition ! gps bien quoté à la base (raison de mon achat en mai 2020). Mais suite à une chute il y a quelques mois, le système de fixation a été arraché. j'ai essayé de réparer, puisque Garmin ne le fait pas ! Depuis ma dernière sortie, mon edge 530 ne s'allume plus et ne charge plus donc, je pense que je vais oublier la marque (bien qu'ayant une bonne réputation) pour me tourner vers la concurrence .
Erfüllt die Erwartungen, gut auch beim Indoor Training
Ich habe drei Teststrecken gemacht. Verbindung mit dem Handy und der Software ohne Probleme (obwohl App Connect zu viele Fragen stellt, es funktioniert eher wie eine Fitness-App. Das ist ärgerlich. Auf allen drei Routen gab es zwei Probleme. Erstens, wenn die Route die gleichen Straßen zum Hin- und Rückweg hat, verirrt sich das GPS sehr schnell und bittet immer wieder um wenden. Es dauert eine Weile, bis es versteht, dass man in die eine Richtung geht und nicht in die andere. Zweitens: Jede Änderung der Route (egal ob aus Strava, Komoot importiert oder in der App vorgenommen) führt nicht zu einer schnellen Neuberechnung der Route. Und diese Berechnung dauert zu lange (ca. 2 Minuten). Für Messungen (Zeit, Geschwindigkeit, Distanzen, Runden etc.) ist das Gerät hervorragend, aber als GPS lässt es zu wünschen übrig. Das Bild sieht in der Verpackung superscharf aus, im Gerät ist es viel weniger scharf. Leider kehrte zum Laden zurück. Für den Preis hatte ich mehr ewartet.
Von einem Edge 1000 kommend, musste ich mich kurz an die Bedienung über Tasten gewöhnen - funktioniert aber einwandfrei. Lediglich das verschieben, hinaus- und hereinzoomen in der Kartenansicht ist nicht so komfortabel. Das kleinere Display ist m.E. vollkommen ausreichend. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Gerät zu einem vglw. günstigen Preis.
Ich war schon mit dem Edge 520 sehr zufrieden, leider hat er bei einem Crash den Geist aufgegeben. Der Edge 530 hat noch die ein oder anderen Funktionen mehr und gefühlt hat die Akkulaufzeit zugenommen! Was ich an allen Garmin-Geräten sehr mag, ist die unkomplizierte Einrichtung der Geräte und Sensoren. Ich nutze den 530 mit dem Varia Rücklicht, Geschwindigkeit und Trittfrequenz Sensoren. Ich bin sehr zufrieden

Fünf Sterne de luxe an dieser Stelle für den Versand!! Binnen 24 Stunden hatte ich das Teil zuhause. Das ist einfach klasse. Vielen Dank dafür! Den Edge 530 selber, musste ich wegen Verlusts des Vorgängers neu bestellen. Der bekommt bei mir und für das was ich damit machen will auch 5 Sterne.
