An elastic, water-repellent collar with adjustable closure provides maximum insulation, the rear strap for easy adjustment and reflective inserts for greater visibility in low light conditions. Abrasion-resistant reinforcements in the toe and side areas. High-insulation midsole with thermo-reflective aluminum creates a thermal barrier that keeps the foot warm and dry. The non-slip BOA Fit System with IP-1 dial allows for a quick, effortless and precise fit. The closure runs across the entire front of the shoe. A supportive insole provides comfort and efficiency while pedaling.
From Gaerne's R&D department comes the new "MTB 2DENSITY SOLE 7.0" - a sole specifically designed for mountain biking. Its structure is made of a combination of nylon and fiberglass, which makes it resistant, lightweight and thin. The profile is designed for maximum grip / stability and excellent resistance on different surfaces. Two removable cleats on the front of the shoe provide enhanced traction on unstable and muddy surfaces.

MTB 2DENSITY SOLE
From Gaerne's research and development department comes the brand new "MTB-2density-sole" specifically designed for mountain bike shoes. The nylon and fiberglass construction makes the sole light, stiff, thin and resistant. The design of the tread ensures the best grip and excellent stability on any terrain. Two removable spikes increase traction in muddy terrain.
CLOSURE SYSTEM BOA IP-1
The new BOA IP-1 twist closure has a triple function: to close the right shoe, the closure is turned clockwise and to loosen it in the opposite direction. For the left shoe it works the other way around, so that you only have to turn in the direction of travel to close and in the opposite direction to loosen. To fully open the closure is pulled upwards. The new BOA IP-1 closure has a hexagonal shape and guarantees with the rubberized surface an effective access to the BOA system.
