With the GRIP2, the closed FIT cartridge technology in the Gravity segment again goes a whole development step further. The new system shines with once again increased sensitivity and thus results in less rider fatigue and more safety. The FOX engineers have developed this high-end damping cartridge based on the well-known GRIP technology and put all their knowledge in the balance. The result is a damping quality that was previously unthinkable.

- ADJUSTABILITY - Thanks to the revolutionary design of the GRIP2, all damping parameters are independently adjustable. High- and low-speed rebound bring control to the chassis for every weight class, and the tuning options for high- and low-speed compression are broadband adjustable to any riding style.
- VARIABLE VALVE CONTROL (VVC) - High-speed rebound in the GRIP2 is controlled with new, unique, patent-pending VVC technology. This technology is based on a leaf spring that changes the flexibility of the high-speed rebound shim stack, but without increasing the preload of the shims. Internally, the VVC technology is a complex system, but the operation is simple: one turn of the additional rebound knob and the high-speed tension level is adjusted appropriately.
- MID-VALVE - Another technical refinement of the GRIP2 damper is the advanced design of the Mid-Valve (valve arrangement on the rebound piston). This allows us to achieve a damping curve that is the ideal compromise between shock absorption, feedback from the terrain, and counter-halt during heavy braking maneuvers. The result is less fatigue with extremely high driving safety.
- INCREASED FINE FEELING - During the development of the GRIP2, increased sensitivity was at the top of the specification list. For this reason, all seals are made of friction-reducing materials, the sliding surfaces are provided with friction-reducing coatings, and the tube of the damping cartridge is elaborately honed on the inside. Breakaway torque? Used to be!
