Thanks to the efficient Bosch Performance Line CX system, you can ride more trails in the same time. The powerful e-drive with a torque of up to 85 Nm makes sure uphill with the JAM² 8.8 is fun as well. Even though the motor has got your back on climbs, you can still easily control your full-suspension bike, also in toughest conditions. The slide-out battery with 750 Wh can be charged via the integrated charging port at the bike’s seat tube. Alternatively, you can also remove the battery easily and fast. There is no need for any tools. Just unlock the buckle and open the cover to slide out the battery. The JAM² 8.8 features the Bosch System Controller, wireless Mini Remote and Kiox display.
Geometry for maximum fun on all types of trails
The carbon frame with alloy chainstays makes the JAM² 8.8 light and nimble. Battery and drive unit are perfectly integrated into the e-MTB's frame giving it a slim look. Further, the battery is placed as low as possible into the down tube. This frame design improves the bike's centre of gravity and makes the JAM² 8.8 more stable on descents. The balanced geometry adds up to the e-MTB's stability. All key dimensions are evaluated carefully to match the bike’s purpose and ensure fun on all trails. The low stand-over height improves bike handling in technical terrain. By turning the headset cups, you can easily change the head angle of your JAM² 8.8 according to your riding preferences from 65.5° to 64.5°.

FOCUS OPTIMIZED LINKAGE DESIGN F.O.L.D.
F.O.L.D. stands for FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design, and offers the ultimate in rear suspension. The patented F.O.L.D. kinematics make it possible to optimise the rear triangle for an extremely wide range of different requirements: F.O.L.D. is extremely sensitive while being progressive enough to prevent a harsh bottom out. Focus has updated F.O.L.D. for the model year 2020. The chainstay is now more rigid, without forgoing the proven advantages of F.O.L.D.. How does that work? The guidelink now moves in the mainlink and it now consists of two components, screwed together. It is more rigid, because the forces exerted are now channelled directly through the link and no longer via the bridge. The integration of the guidelink also means that the linkage is more streamlined. The damper is now on the head, guaranteeing perfect kinematics and low weight with the new design.
COCKPIT INTEGRATION SOLUTION C.I.S.
C.I.S. stands for Cockpit Integration Solution and summarizes all internal cable routing on the cockpits of our road, gravel and mountain bikes. We developed several C.I.S. stems specifically to the needs of the bike category, f.e. an aero stem for the IZALCO MAX or a super short stem for our mountain bikes. They all have in common that they route all cables through stem and headset into the frame while still providing perfect functionality for both electronic and mechanical shifting. As a result, your cockpit looks super clean and the cables are protected internally.

Bosch - the smart system for e-bikes
At the start into the networked e-bike world, Bosch is equipping the top drive unit Performance line CX for the future. The well-known motor with a new connectivity is accompanied by Bosch's brand-new PowerTube 750 battery - for longer riding pleasure with a significantly increased range. Beside the new Kiox 300 display, the new Mini Remote, as well as the system controller in the top tube of the frame, and the new 4A charger, the new smart system also includes the new eBike Flow app, which now is the center for customizing your e-bike! Thanks to the network, you can easily retrofit new functions or install updates "over-the-air". Of course, you can also track your activities and customize the riding modes. The retrofittable "ConnectModule" is intended to increase security, enabling new options for e-bike theft protection. For example, an acoustic alarm can be triggered in the event of an attempted theft, and the bike can also be tracked if it has been stolen. Further features are planned to promise more riding fun and safety with the smart system by Bosch.

Power on the hill
The maximum torque of 85 Nm has a noticeable effect on your riding behaviour when eMountain biking. The powerful motor enables rapid acceleration after tight turns and obstacles at a low cadence and facilitates starting up on the steepest of hills. For fast sprints, the motor also supports you at high cadence.
Intuitive handling
A mode for more focus: Specially designed for sporty use, eMTB mode offers you optimum control and intuitive handling, as you need to switch less between the different riding modes. With this clever function of the eMTB mode, technical sections can be mastered with confidence and obstacles such as root systems and rock gardens can be overcome by applying targeted pedal pressure with the Extended Boost. The Performance Line CX drive unit thus ensures even more riding enjoyment and a flow experience that sets the standard.

Sporty and economical
Sporty riding on a trekking bike or eMTB: The Tour+ mode of the Bosch Performance Line CX always focuses on riding enjoyment. It eliminates the need to switch between support modes, so you can focus entirely on the eBiking. Tour+ mode requires you to pedal harder on flat tracks than Tour mode - thus saving power and extending your boundaries for even more riding enjoyment!
Whether off-road or on asphalt, Tour+ mode is always the perfect choice. That's because it constantly adapts to you. Sensors on the motor measure important riding data more than 1,000 times per second, enabling Tour+ mode to determine optimum support for you. It delivers the additional power so sensitively that you not only experience a natural riding sensation, but also enjoy a longer range by applying more power.
A personal riding experience
To ensure that the eBike’s handling characteristics suit your riding style or the selected route, the available riding modes can be customised using the eBike Flow app. The level of the support, dynamics, maximum speed and maximum torque of the drive can thus be flexibly adjusted to your personal needs and preferences. Intensive training or extended eBike ride — the riding modes always offer you the right support and enable even more riding enjoyment.

Enhancing the eBike
Use the eBike Flow app to download new features and updates for components such as the battery or motor and send them to your eBike via Bluetooth. That way it's always up to date and you get to enjoy more options.
Recording activities
Track your ride and fitness data as soon as you get started. If desired, the Activity Tracking for iPhone users can also sync all data automatically with Apple Health. When you take a break, the recording stops automatically.
Customising riding modes
Adjust the riding mode exactly to your needs: You can finely adjust the Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo riding modes so that they offer you more support or consume less power.
Everything at a glance

Small but powerful. Kiox 300 impresses not only because of its compact size, but for its colour display which ensures optimum readability by day and night. Operation via the mini remote is simple and is visually supported by animations and images. The handy display underlines the sleek eBike look and is protected against water splashes and dust.
Helpful support
An end to tedious pushing. The new Walk Assist function can be activated via the mini remote and supports the rider on particularly steep climbs. Kiox 300 provides clear, visual guidance and facilitates intuitive operation. The display also supports you before or during the ride by clearly showing you the remaining range for all riding modes. This allows you to better assess which riding mode can be used to reach your destination.
Positioning as desired
The display mount allows for centralised positioning of the display on the handlebar and is adjusted as per your personal preference. The tilt angle of the display can also be individually adjusted — for optimum readability during the ride.

System Controller
Minimalist, robust Control Unit
The System Controller is the Control Unit for eBikes with the smart system, reduced to the essentials. The deliberately limited number of functions and information facilitates a quick overview and is not distracting while riding. The System Controller is seamlessly integrated into the top tube – this gives the already robust companion additional protection, is hardly noticeable and is perfect for sporty tours and design-oriented eBike fans.
LED indicators
LEDs use different colors to indicate the riding mode as well as the battery charge level in 10 % steps.
Connected in the smart system
The System Controller makes your eBike smart – and is the interface for software updates.
Built into the top tube
The System Controller is hardly noticeable, made of sturdy material and protected from knocks and scratches.

Mini Remote
As an additional operating panel, the Mini Remote supplements the System Controller, extends the range of functions and enables safe operation. More keys offer more functions: with the Mini Remote you get practical features like the smart Push Assist and you can turn your eBike light on or off.
