Technologies
G-1000
G-1000 is Fjällräven's most important material. They use it for all of their products - backpacks, jackets, and pants. It is a tightly woven fabric made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which can be adapted to different weather conditions thanks to Greenland Wax. With proper care, it can last for many years and accompany you on all your adventures.

G-1000 Lite
G-1000 is a very strong, durable material, but sometimes something lighter is more appropriate. For that case, G-1000 Lite is available as a slightly thinner, airier version of the original that is still tough and tear-resistant thanks to woven-in ripstop. G-1000 Lite is lightly pretreated with wax, so there is some wind and water resistance. It offers protection in challenging terrain, but not against mosquito and insect bites.
