Challenge Dune Pro 33-622 Folding Tyre
Challenge's Dune has been specially developed for cross-country races on sandy terrain, such as the World Cup race in Koksijde. For training, it is simply a pleasantly smooth running tyre for road, gravel and dirt roads. Equipped with Puncture Protection System (PPS), the Dune provides additional layers of high-strength fabric between the carcass and tyre to reduce the risk of puncture.

Ohne Frage, eines meiner Lieblingsreifen in meinem Challenge Cross Sortiment. Ein super Allrounder für das Training und auf schnellen Strecken wie Wald- und Feldwege. Perfekt natürlich für trockene harte Böden, Gras aber auch für sandige Bedingungen im Wettkampfeinsatz. Hierfür ist er ja auch konzipiert. Ich fahre stets mit Latexschlauch. Die "neuen" Chargen lassen sich (endlich!) überraschend einfach aufziehen. Frühere Versionen und Challenge typisch erforderte es erheblichen Kraft- und Verzweiflungsakt. Daran hat Challenge also gearbeitet. Unbegreiflich ist mir allerdings, wieso sich immer noch die geklebte Lauffläche von der Karkasse löst. Das ist kein Einzelfall und auch bei mir zeigt es sich erneut im bestellten 2.Satz DUNE mit aktueller Laufleistung von max. 800km. Bei keinen anderen Reifensätzen tritt dieses auf obwohl der Aufbau stets gleich ist. Unbegreiflich! Warum bekommt das Challenge bei DUNE nicht hin?
