Faster, lighter, better - the high-end gravel bike Cervélo Áspero-5
The high-end version of the carbon gravel bike Áspero comes thanks to electronic drivetrain and fully integrated cockpit without visible cables, has aerodynamically shaped tubes and the proven, stable carbon wheels from Reserve. Reserve? Exactly - the house brand, which also brings the top models of Santa Cruz to roll, super stable and with excellent quality. So if you want to ride your gravel bike really fast, don't want to carry unnecessary ballast and still want to call a stylish racer with top components and excellent workmanship your own, the Cervélo Áspero-5 is just right!
Features - Cervélo Áspero GRX Di2 Disc
The Áspero-5 carbon frame
Leveraging vast knowledge from road racing, the Áspero frame is designed with world tour stiffness for greater pedal power transfer, using less and lighter material to aid climbing and accelerating, while maximizing speeds with aerodynamic shapes critical to efficiency at speed. Some might say aero doesn’t matter on a gravel bike, but if you’ve battled a headwind across an open prairie, the thirty-two grams of drag you’ll save with the Áspero-5 come as a welcome respite. Most gravel racing is done without the benefit of a World Tour peloton—or World Tour tactics—and when it’s your nose in the wind all day, it’s nice to know your bike’s shouldering a bit of the load.
650b or 28"
Cervélo engineered the bike to fit most 700x42 or 650x49 tire/wheel combos, comfortably. Of course, there are variables - rim width, tire casing / tread depth - which will affect final clearance. IMPORTANT NOTE - We always recommend there to be 4mm of clearance around whichever tire/wheel combo is installed on the bike.
Two-position adjustment
“Trail” - Front wheel response to rider input - is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. The ability to adjust trail with the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the extreme range of tire sizes ensures a uniform ride experience.
Balanced handling
Stiffness and handling work together to ensure the bike tracks predictably and responds immediately to critical pedal and bracing inputs. The fork's Trail Mixer adjusts trail to lessen the shock to handling when swapping between most common tire sizes.
Versatile comfort
Vibration-damping, carbon seat post we’ve used to great effect on the R5 and Caledonia-5, clever split-spacers under the stem so you don’t have to re-cable your bike to adjust your fit, and our new flared handlebar.

Tolles Gravel. 5 Sterne.
