The Cateye helmet lamp AMPP800 uses a 1-LED design with OptiCube™ lens technology, spreading a wide and even beam across whatever the terrain throws at you.
Safety should play an important role for anyone travelling in the dark. 5 light modes vary from a bright permanent 800 lumen beam to a flashing light, at the highest light level 1.5 hours of light are possible before the Li-Ion battery needs to be charged via USB.

Die Helmlampe hat einen runden breiten Lichtkegel der in der Mitte langsam heller wird. Die Leuchtstärke ist ca. 3x heller als die Cateye GVolt 50. Das Gehäuse besteht aus eloxiertem Aluminium und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Ich habe die Ampp 800 als Helmlampe im Einsatz. Die Leuchtkraft und Leuchtdauer ist für mich ideal. Sie hat im Vergleich zu den Helleren Lampen den Vorteil dass kein zusätzicher Accu mit Verbindungskabel verstaut werden muss.
