When Castelli started developing these bib shorts, they had the idea of creating a model that could be put on immediately after washing and drying to go on any kind of outing. And that's exactly what they did.

Instant comfort for every adventure: the Espresso bib shorts from Castelli

First of all, a soft, stretchy fabric was developed that feels wonderful against the skin as soon as you put the bib shorts on. The fabric hugs the body and follows its movements without constricting or hindering. Castelli has also paid the utmost attention to the fit: everything is guaranteed to sit exactly where you want it to. In addition, silicone grippers at the leg ends ensure a crisp tan line at all times.

The mesh straps are stretchy and also provide additional ventilation. And as you would expect from Castelli, the seat pad of the Progetto X2 Air is also designed for all-day comfort. Last but not least, Castelli has added a few details, such as a rear pocket for stowing utensils and reflective stripes for greater safety. A four-way stretch microfiber top layer offers maximum softness and moves with your body to prevent skin irritation. Seamless construction prevents chafing and perforated foam backing allows airflow to aid evaporation. A separate component provides no-compromise cushioning, with Castelli’s infinitely variable thickness to bring the right shape to the right part of the body.
